This mod along with Ash's 33 New Skills mod, I've been using, but there is a mystifying problem. The skills do not appear (from any skill mod) on Empire wizard lords, Dwarf rune lords, etc... They only appear on LLs and on each factions hybrid melee/ranged lords. On magic users, the new skills don't appear. Can anyone help?

Finally got this mod rebuilt for game 3, mixed with Leaders of Legend; >200 new traits, ~200-250 new skills, and the goal of giving every lord - legendary or otherwise - multiple valid 'builds' with plenty of customization.

Open beta status for now to see how balance and bugs turn out.

As a modder in previous times I know how sometimes positive feedback can get drowned out by the "update? update!" and request spam, but yeah, running a different less-polished spec mod in WH3 right now really puts into perspective how much work has been put on this one.

I got about 6 factions full set up ingame yesterday, though with work kicking my ass progress will be slow for a week or two. It's definitely in progress though!

As an update on the progress of the port; I have the base skills done and some of the (much improved) AI usage sorted, and a bunch of other changes planned.

HOWEVER, I want to see what CA actually does in IE before I go off half-cocked. I may take a day or two off to focus on this mod then, try to go over every lord and figure out what I need to do for them.

Fair enough. I went pretty hard on trying to update this, many more choices and a nicer layout~ not sure if I'll get around to heroes this time or not, work has kept me very busy. But hopefully eventually.

Amazing, this mod gives more life to commanders, they become true legendary lords. It's not long before IE, it's worth the wait, because there should be a big update

Yep, I'm mostly done with porting this and Leaders of Legend to 3. Not sure when I'll finish or release it though, might be after IE drops.

If you're willing to use RPFM, it's pretty easy; just see what skill nodes share the same tier/node.

In general, this mod won't conflict with other mods, I used tier numbers in the 800s so it's extremely rare for another mod to do the same considering that vanilla tier numbers in the 1-20 range.

Most commonly, 'clashing' mods just used tiers right after vanilla (ex. if vanilla ends at 16, they start from 17) and then another mod took the same approach.

Well, red/bluelines are even worse in TWW3 so.... I guess this mod will get ported/updated in some form, lol.

I'm half tempted to just overwrite red/blue lines (since I loathe those in tww3 even more than tww2') AND port the AI changes so the AI can actually make decent armies, but we'll see how that goes.

Either way, waiting on workshop for tww3, so don't expect any ports immediately.

Maybe for TWW3. I have some ideas to work with and would like to do it, but I don't really have the time to mod much anymore so starting a project like that right now seems unwise.

Very fun mod to try out for dumb doomstacked, managed to buffed skeleton warrior doomstack till the point they are actually viable damage dealer

As per description, yes.

"I set up the AI to use it as intelligently as possible, considering skill synergies; if they get melee infantry doctrine, they'll be more likely to get more melee buffs, and will consider situational skills like reinforcement range less valuable than universally good stuff like replenishment. From my experience doing several campaigns with it, lords like Archaon, Kholek, Tyrion, Malekith etc. tend to get pretttty scary."

SFO already does a fair number of its own changes to lord/hero effects and skill trees, compatibility isn't really a priority. I have no idea why that in particular would break though, I don't do anything with agent actions or remove vanilla agent action skills, especially for their characters..

using this mod and SFO (and nothing else) i have found that the sfo hero 'sons of brettonia' is missing all its agent actions has anyone else experienced this issue?

the OvN Lost Factions Mod has added plenty of new Lords, as did MIxu.
This includes Bödvarr Ribspreader for OvN, Molokh Slugtongue in MIxus LL 2, Grimm Burlokson also from Mixus LL 2.

I believe the 4 variants of the Great Bray Shaman are still missing from the mod. I did unsubscribe and resubscribe, but that didn't work.
To verify I added the missing lords to the packfile and resubscribing deleted them.

As far as I can tell, the WE rework broke it and I haven't yet been able to figure out how to fix it. Maybe I should just hide it until/if I do. The AI never buys it anyways.

Speaking of, I don't think the wood elf amber skill works still. I recall using it last week before this patch and it didn't give any amber.

I don't know if either is REALLY needed, but with new/updated pooled resources come new skills. 1/2/3 oathgold a turn and 20/40/60 dread a turn respectively, with the usual level 10/20/30 requirements.
