I'm not sure what I'm missing, but their minions don't seem to spawn with the Chosen for me. And I don't have any mods that alters enemy pod sizes enabled either.

Yes - every time a Chosen spawns (even in their Stronghold), they will bring a minions as described above.

Maybe, I haven't been on XCOM 2 for a while and currently do not antipicate getting back on for a while. If I do patch it, it won't be soon.

It was just discovered today by another user that if you are using the mod that multiplies pod sizes, these two mods may not work simultaneously - unless you check the option on that other mod that allows single-unit pods or boss pods to multiply

Well, if it's tier based I'm not seeing any followers, currently encountering tier 2 Assassin and she doesn't have anyone with her.

I think it is based on knowledge level, but not sure. The game has 4 different versions of each Chosen, this mod just adds enemies to the groups that spawn the Tier 2 Chosen and higher.

I see. No, there is not a new random trait. Normally whenever the game is choosing enemies to spawn on the mission, it uses a "Distribution List" that is a list of all possible enemies that can appear randomly and what the % chance to appear is. Well, normally when a Chosen appears, the game uses the same process, but it chooses from a different list that contains only that single Chosen. This mod changes the list so that when Chosen appear, they can bring followers. It is an edit to the base-game functionality and does not add any new abilities to the Chosen.

The Chosen do not bring followers in the early-game, they have to level-up to Rank 2 in Chosen Knowledge before minions appear.

@Alex Nares are these taken from the vanilla enemies, or do they have unique unit ID's? Reason I ask if these have their own ID, then they could be customized to look unique, more akin the chosen themselves.

That sounds like the Hunter's in-game ability to summon reinforcements. I am not sure how he was able to do that without having the ability. This mod should make it so that - in addition to that - he brings some more enemies when he teleports in for the first time per mission. It does not change any abilities.

Well he didnt have the Advent General perk, I think that's usually needed...

Just to make sure everythings working, when will these entourage units spawn? I just fought a hunter, level 2, and he summoned in 2 Troopers as soon as he saw me (but not when he originally teleported onto the stage.) Was that the entorouge?

I would have it closer to how they are in canon(Which I did hours ago). The Assassin would have melee/savage units, The Hunter would only get machines(due to hunting Advent forces) and the Warlock spawns with psionic enemies. Though minus Sectopods and Gatekeepers because boss pods would be annoying.

Though you would need Advent from the Workshop to make a full list of them.

Yes, the entourage is just additional regular enemies that spawn in with the Chosen and take their turn during the Chosen Action.

Right now only the default enemies are enabled, but you can add mod enemies in the INI.
