Great mod, still works and doesnt seem to break. Now whenever I Skyrim up the throat of the world I don't have to keep looking at ugly mountains and have these great textures instead

will this conflict with 2k special edition rocks
dyadyabob 7 feb 2015 om 7:19
Dig the look of it, had BDS installed worked fine with no issues, thanks.

btw, if you use MLAA fine pattern on the rocks can create light shimmer, can be distracting when you move around, turned it off and shimmer went away but I love MLAA:(

@Nekitja
Normally if someone likes your mod, they look at your profile to see your other work. At least that's what I hope.
Nekitja 9 mei 2014 om 3:53
I like really your other mods 'Real Mountains' and 'Real Glaciers Remastered' though. Those look amazing so I've subcribed immediately.
Maybe you could mention your other mods in the descriptions, somehow? Just so people know they can find other options of yours for the look of 'mountains', as it took me quite some time to stumble over them in the workshop.

@Ru Ru+Nekitja

The gritty textury look is what this mod was built for. Either you like it or you don't, that's it.

Awesome mod, rocks look much real and better, Good Job :)
Nekitja 31 jan 2014 om 15:15
The idea is good, but the 'textures' chosen don't seem to do the job. Makes me think that the textures had problems being loaded properly ..
Somewhat as if you just added a layer of black spraypaint.
Maybe try making the 'gritty' part less dominant?

Looks aweful! Half asked job, could be a lot better. It's like taking the meshes and blurring them, actually removing the contrast and details. How can anyone say this is good o.O
Se7enAxis 28 jan 2014 om 9:07
Looks great, thanks. :)
BattleBard 26 jan 2014 om 11:22
Good work, but I prefer Bigger and Boulder.

GTX 770 OC Edition, once I put it in, is gonna work very well for this I think.... >:D
ShrubKing 25 jan 2014 om 9:21
Great mod! Looks amazing and I see no performance drop on my XFX 7850 Ultra OC. Good job!
Floris 25 jan 2014 om 4:19
Don't you think it's a bit too dark and full? It kinda hurts my eyes :(
Berub100 23 jan 2014 om 12:25
Simply Awesome, work very well !!!
Osmodius  [auteur] 22 jan 2014 om 15:20
Added a video comparison and also added a brown variation to the SkyrimNexus version.
Hasibubu 22 jan 2014 om 10:19
thanks, this is just awesome *-*

@Marblo
That is why mods are optional, and that is also why it is important to keep track of how much your computer can handle vs how much you have installed already.
Kryptonian 22 jan 2014 om 9:15
Nice job man. I like the new textures you made for the mountains. I have had your glacier replacer mod for a while now. You do very good work thanks for this mod.
MARMAK 22 jan 2014 om 7:47
The more textures you have the more is your chance of a Game crash/freeze.

All is fine.)
Osmodius  [auteur] 21 jan 2014 om 6:45
@kamennyrv
Works fine for me, make sure you don't have any other mountain texture mods installed at the same time.
kamennyrv 21 jan 2014 om 4:57
Не работает! He's doesn't work!
