I found a glitch that activates specifically when i play Tehenhauin (with no other mods at all enabled) where clan fester is steroided to godlike levels. You dont see it if you just look at their units from the map, but once you attack them on the battle preview screen you can see that even their skavenslaves have over 90 melee attack, and their warlords start at like 130. Every unit in their army gets this strange buff that makes them super op, but none of the other skaven clans get it and this only happens when i play tehenhauin. Tried gor rock and they are fine. If you play them with an unlocker the buff isnt there at all so im not sure whats up but i thought i would let you know.

Anyway i love this mod and have used it in every campaign since i discovered it a long time ago. Have a nice day!

Does this mod effect the existing Warlord traits? Something has changed ravenous expansion and I'm trying to figure out what.

Hello everyone, this script should work fine in the New Moulder/Woodelves update even if the mod says "Outdated".

A new update will be released after the DLC (maybe in a week or so)!

2) I have a proposal: replace the unique warlord skill "Life is Cheap" with a unique, but slightly weakened Queek skill "Life is Very Cheap". In the vanilla version of the game, the "Life is Cheap" skill appears too late to use bonuses for Skaven slaves, and it is taken 99% of the time for the sake of replenishment speed. And if you increase "Life is Cheap" of the second level by: -10% clanrate upkeep, +10 clanrate armor. Then for the 13th level and two skillpoints it will look fair. And Queek will still have an improved version of this skill (+4 to the rank of slaves and clanrates). Queek strong-best warlord yes-yes! If you agree, do not forget to slightly weaken the 33% decrease in upkeep for clanrates from the "Warlord of Clan Mors" trait.

Check the new clan Vrrtkin overhaul . It seems need some small compatibility adjustment: changing Spittel clan traits to Vrrtkin

An idea for clan Skryre would be having lords and warlock engineers repair mechanical units near them. Since the current Skryre skill does not work at all (atleast for me) i would like for a more usefull skill.

So I'm playing as Queek and enjoying this mod greatly. I have a question about the "Unyielding" ability, though. Sometimes during the battle I see in the tooltip that this ability is "blocked" with 900 seconds "duration". What does it mean, exactly? Is it a bug or working as intended?

i know what the attribute does. I see no reason to make all Skaven warlords immortal, though.

I mean their faction would still get destroyed in 10 turns regardless of their lords being immortal
And you do know that i meant that they survive if they die in battle not literally being unkillable right?

Can you perhaps add immortality to the traits? I'm using a mod which allows me to recruit defeated factions and honestly this is the only way to get any lords from other skaven factions as they either get destroyed in 10 turns or refuse to ally with the player. Oh and is there any chance that you may add these traits for other legendary lords added by mods? Love the mod and only problem would be skryre skill not working.

Looking at the traits and abilities, I really don't find them OP compared to the other options the Skaven have. Remember that we are talking about lords and not heroes here. In Vanilla Warlord is the most bland lord type for the Skaven. This mod rectifies this.

The major clan traits seem really overpowered when you combine the passive and active buffs.

What LockTheReliquary said! Consider it as a 'global buff' mechanic which many faction has! Like Bretonnia's honor mechanic or Wood Elves world tree mechanic, all buffs on certain areas.

A small boost and some Clan flavour for the Dwarves would be very much welcomed. Since the Greenskin patch arrived, I tend to find the stunted ones struggling in their game.

I think that sth similar for the Empire's generals, Orc warbosses and Dwarf lords would be great since they are the most "Vanilla" lords available. At least warbosses and generals have flying mounts as unique features. Dwarf lords have nothing. High Elves already have many good traits for various lord types because of the Influence mechanics. They don't really need new ones. Lizardmen are somewhere in the middle. Slann are the best lords but it's mostly because of the Star Chamber lord rank bonus.

As for the next race, I'm very split between Dwarfs and Lizardmen. On one hand, it would be great for each dwarf hold to have their own but I never read much dwarf lore when I was growing up and my lore knowledge stops at HighElf, Skaven, Chaos and Lizardmen. But for now, i'll just keep tweaking the Skaven until I feel confident to leave them for a bit

@Hoon It looks very good, nice addition with the specific abilities you've just added! Though on the mod change window, there seem to be a minor text problem - In the buttom, you've written Clan Mors twice, but no Clan Rictus. I assume the later will have the Taskmaster and Unyielding is for Mors?
Else keep up the great work! Would love to see this for other factions aswell :)

Hello everyone! Version 1.2.0 has been released. I finally got around the special abilities section and decided to first give all the major clans a Warlord (and Legendary Lord) only ability which buffs certain units in your warlord's army! Every one time in battle, clan specific units have special abilities that can activate if the conditions are met. I tried keeping these abilities as lore friendly as possible and made sure they aren't super overboard. Overall these are very fun abilities and I hope you enjoy this update! I'll update the patch notes to detail the specifics and next I'll work on the minor clans

I think adding lore descriptions for each clan traits would add a little bit more flavor to the mod. But otherwise, the mod is fine as it is.

Great mod! The only thing is that clan pestilence is already immune to Skaven plague attrition, may be give him frenzy? Like a plague monk? Although that leaves the army with no buffs.
Casualty replenishment for the army?
The mod is good non the less. Great job!

This is fab. As someone who just started my first Skaven campaign like, two days ago, I definitely felt the Warlords were a little generic compared to the other options. Very cool idea to make them uniquely tied to the clans, and it doesn't seem like they're OP now - just more interesting. It's just great work. Thank you!

@La Hire Skaven as a faction already feel pretty forgiving on the harder difficulties compared to other factions even with autoresolve not leaning towards them. Checkerboarding gunners or just blowing enemy armies with arc'd weapons already trivializes alot of battles just as you said, so I'm not sure why I would want to focus all my trait buffs around weapon teams even further making armies even more the same.
