You can change it to 1% speed in vanilla and it is not choppy at all even with the same settings.
From 99% speed all the way to 1% speed.
Guys just look at the options and you can customize the slowmo speed without any mods.
Besides ingame vanilla slowmotion is way more stable and fluid than any mods.
