Do you have plans to include the Cragin industrial lead to Alpha Bakery?

Have you been making any progress on this recently?

DO you have plans on adding the north side of Chicago Union Station?

How is progress on this route going? I'm excited to see how far you can go with this project.

It should be fine.

I have all the dlc required except for Sacramento Northern, is it still playable?

Wow. If you could be able to finish this this would be amazing. I live near Metra's Union Pacific West Line's terminus in Elburn and would love to see this to completion. Also heads up to anybody who is from the Chicagoland area

@Kellanium I am also working on a backdate of the Chicago Racetrack, from 1970-1995. It's better than this in terms of scenery and layout, too. From fellow auroran to auroran, hope you like it!

FOLLOWING!!!! born chicagoan (well auroran, but you get the idea) and i'm so psyched for this!

Full route: Metra BNSF
Partial routes: Metra UP-W, EJE-CN, BN West Chicago Branch

What routes/partial routes does this include? I'm looking to make a full version of the MDN/NCS in the future and I see that there are possibilities. We can go to private messages if we need to.

thanks. I felt the same way.

Yo, local chicagoland resident here, I must say, seeing someone model more than just the racetrack puts a smile on my face, keep up the good work :)

Ah, good to hear. I can't check this out yet (don't have Racetrack), but I may put it on my list. I almost got Racetrack at the last sale. Now there's another, but only 50% off. I expect a bigger discount in a future sale, as it's been 65% off before. So I will hold out.

I assume the international version would work, just the logos would be missing. I have already planned to delete the Marias Pass assets.

Question. You state the BNSF version of Racetrack is required. What about the international version, assuming this is unique? I'd imagine this would also work? I would also recommend make all scenarios not require BNSF because of the licensing issues.

Marias Pass also cannot be purchased internationally. I would recommend to replace anything from that route for that reason alone.

no prob, it was fun making it.

ajs_638,

I only tested out this route from Ogilvie and ran to Elmhurst on the Metra UP-West section, I have to say I really enjoyed running it and being in Ogilvie Station. I think your project has a great foundation and great potential. I enjoy the original BNSF Aurora-Chicago route and I thought that would be the only route available in Railworks for Metra operations, but I have been waiting to see if there would ever be an addition to the route on the workshop, since DTG will not release any unbranded rolling stock or routes. And I think you are the only one who has made an addition/new route for the Chicago/Suburbs area. If you are still working on this, I look forward to see what updates you will bring to it in the future. Thank you for sharing this.

In the future, this was more of a ‘make sure this doesn’t all get accidentally deleted’ upload lol
CRYSCrum 18. sep. 2020 kl. 20:37
well can it go Elburn?
ajs_628  [ophavsmand] 4. sep. 2020 kl. 6:10
I think I will remove the Marias Pass route, it was there more for the scenarios, since the racetrack only has a GP38, and that's not really suitable for mainline runs. And for the floating warehouse, that's on the original Chicago-Aurora route, and I will fix it with the next update. Thanks for trying it out!

Great job! Thanks for providing this. Took a drive down to Montgomery and all went well. Only problem was on the map at Montgomery there was a label "Montgomery Warehouse 1" that was floating around on the map when I roamed the map. It appeared it was not tied to ground.
Also you might want to consider removing Marias Pass if you are only using a small amount of scenery since this route is only available in the US.
