Kadyn 21 Aug, 2023 @ 7:13pm
Tried it out and having no issue yet! So far, so good.
Kadyn 20 Aug, 2023 @ 7:57pm
Would like to download this map, but I'm a bit worried about an issue with the saves, loading and crashing, and apparently a forest fire issue according to "Canadian Moose Plays" on YouTube. I'll download everything and give it a try though. Hoping for the best.
bakepotatou 8 Aug, 2023 @ 1:32pm
Did u change rail grades on this one
Brakasse Xav 18 Jul, 2023 @ 1:24pm
Is it just me or, but for the past 2 days the game has been crashing on this map and my saves (which had been working perfectly until then)
Canadian_Milo 23 Jan, 2023 @ 4:21pm
for me the map doesnt load, CS just uses 25gb of ram, then just keeps loading and doesnt want to work
Rootiga 7 Jan, 2023 @ 5:57pm
its scary how accurately this depicts the northwest lmao. it looked exactly like this the entire drive from canyon county to coeur d'alene on the interstate that went through oregon and washington
MountainRambler395 4 Jan, 2023 @ 11:41pm
Does this map still work? Just found it and don't want to run into any loading issues
texasjohnnybravo 27 Sep, 2022 @ 10:41pm
Ive been having issues with this map uploading since the latest update? can you think of any reason why?
sophisticated.flow 21 May, 2022 @ 9:23am
Thank you for uploading this! Beautiful map, great job. :steamhappy:

@Kago™² - I don't think the lake is deep enough to produce any meaningful electricity. It's intended more as a fresh-water-reservoir.

@Yann_1789 - I think I used Ultimate Eyecandy but not Relight.
Kago™². 25 Nov, 2021 @ 2:06pm
The map is gorgeous, thank you. A question tho: how can I make the prebuilt damn funtional? I tried deleting the road and placing a damn, but its barely producing electricity (if any)
Yann_1789 4 Jun, 2021 @ 7:09am
Hello Greyflame, very nice map !
Did you use Relight and ultimate eyecandy mod for the screenshoots?
m4gic 20 May, 2021 @ 7:56am
I've used this for several builds and love this map. The streets already laid-out as they are is such a fantastic way to start a city!
OmniaPeccatumEst 7 Apr, 2021 @ 3:53pm
Thank you so much, i actually managed to find the broken file in its folder, and deleted it. I also deleted all savegames of that map, and then resubscribed. It works now =)
Also i found out, that it is better to disable all other assets, as it makes the editor run more smoothly (since the loading screen mod does not work with the editor). I guess that was obvious, but for some reason not to me...
I also downloaded the crp, but luckily havent needed it so far
Finaly i wanted to ask you, if there is a way i could show my appreciation for your work (paypal or something like this?) Best regards!
Greyflame  [author] 6 Apr, 2021 @ 10:00pm
OmniaPeccatumEst - Sorry to hear you're having trouble. Skylines can be confusing about what is and isn't workshop content, and it treats them a bit differently. It even saves local files and workshop files in different locations. It might be worth checking if the file locations to see what's actually in there.

Either way, if you're having trouble still, I made the CRP available for download here so that you can edit it "from scratch" as it were: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1BHkKflOG5nmNKRpE8HeIPpk6NTX8cxQI/view?usp=sharing

Hope that helps, let me know if it still isn't working out!

Hi, i hate to bother you with this, but i no longer know what to do: basically i have build on two or three occasions on this map (btw, in my opinion the best map on the workshop), and lately wanted to add an extra outside connection for trains. Since i dont know how to do that in game, i tried out the editor, and it worked fine. However, for some reason, i now no longer have acess to your original map. It seems, CS replaced the original version with the altered, and the problem also cannot be fixed, by un- and resubscribing to it. The real problem however is, that i can now also no longer load the altered version. I had played on it for a while, than deleted that save, and then tried to load the empty map back into the editor. But the editor did not load the empty map, but the savegame, that i had previously deleted, and then subsequently crashed. Is it maybe impossible to edit custom maps in the editor, that you did not make yourself in the first place?
Greyflame  [author] 9 Mar, 2021 @ 3:17pm
@Ozzyski - Thank you :) I had to use the Find It mod to place them, they won't show up in the regular map editor menu but they can still be placed if pulled up in Find It.
Ozzyski 9 Mar, 2021 @ 7:00am
@Greyflame - any chance you can tell me if using zone-enabled roads in the build caused issues for you in map-editor? I can't for the life of me figure out how to make the game regular roads as valid in my own map and it's driving me nuts. Is it because the ones you used are technically highways? Any advice you can give me about adding regular roads outside the default building area would be immensely helpful - this map has been fertilizer for much inspiration!
rubenqwerty 21 Dec, 2020 @ 12:10pm
I'm not getting trains, any mod to solve this?
Endureth 20 Dec, 2020 @ 3:38pm
Up to 42k pop on this map. Great layout.
me22ca 20 Dec, 2020 @ 1:57pm
@Simon I've never seen any of them removed, and have been using Achieve It with no problems since a few weeks after I started playing the game.
Simon 20 Dec, 2020 @ 7:29am
I know there are mods that claim to do this, but every time I've tried they don't work, and it seems I'm not the only one that finds them unreliable. I think they're also frequently disabled by the developer. Admittedly I haven't tried any of them lately, so maybe I'll try again, but I'm not at all confident. There's a mod called "Achieve It!" which has mixed reports. It's not been updated since March.

Anyway, I do really like the map overall! Seems like the developers should employ some of the talented community map makers to replace the default maps.
me22ca 8 Dec, 2020 @ 12:01pm
@Simon there are mods that let you get achievements while using mods. It's up to you to choose how strict you want to be about things while trying to get achievements or win scenarios.
Simon 7 Dec, 2020 @ 10:23pm
Yeah I want to play vanilla (or at least without mods) so I can get achievements. Unfortunately, the dam is outside the starting square, so there's no way to access that reservoir without mods. I tried editing the map to increase river flow but I was unsuccessful. It could take some trial and error; I don't want to flood the map because roads are quite close to the river.

If there were actually decent (and natural) looking maps with starting layouts in the base game I wouldn't need to try to find workshop maps, but the base graphics and maps are quite bad; and you have to start with a tedious process of building roads and a functional connection to the motorway, which I hate. The developers' answer to any criticism is "use the workshop" but then they also say you're not allowed to get achievements if you use any mods... :/

It's telling that over the years, the maps they supply with the DLC have continued to be uninspired and dull with terrible textures and lighting.
Greyflame  [author] 7 Dec, 2020 @ 12:58pm
@mitsahlova - thanks! The rail was just an aesthetic choice. Most of the rural rail here is single-track, so I wanted to echo that look, but the vanilla train AI doesn't know how to handle two-way on a single track so I just made it one way to keep things simple. On my next iteration of the map (yes I have more updates planned xD) I think I might use double tracks at the outside connections so it can be upgraded in-game if desired.

@Simon - I don't usually play using the vanilla sewage system so it's not something I usually check for, but it might be worth trying to drain it into the reservoir lake. It's counterintuitive but the water source there is a lot stronger than the river so it might turn into a drain if overfull.
Simon 7 Dec, 2020 @ 9:10am
This is a nice looking map, and I appreciate the starting roads because few maps do that and I hate having to build starting layouts myself, but the river flow is insufficient: there's no way to prevent a poopocalypse! A single pump sucks up water from the river in both directions even when placed on opposite sides of the starting square. Isn't anyone else having this issue?
mistahlova 27 Sep, 2020 @ 4:43am
Love your map, I'm about to have tons of fun with it. I noticed that the rail track going through the town is one way only - any specific reason for this? I know it's easily editable in the editor, but I was just wondering about the reasoning behind the decision.
sophisticated.flow 26 Sep, 2020 @ 6:43pm
THANK YOU FOR UPLOADING THIS!
MaximusSupremus 17 Sep, 2020 @ 10:37pm

MaximusSupremus 17 Sep, 2020 @ 10:35pm

Greyflame  [author] 17 Sep, 2020 @ 10:31pm
That's a heck of a compliment, thank you so much Maximus!
MaximusSupremus 17 Sep, 2020 @ 10:29pm
you are absolutely rediculous , you know that?? i cant believe some of the work you do.
i have damn near replaced all of the trees on one of my maps im building with all of your

ElectroDragon 8 Sep, 2020 @ 8:08am
Tried loading it and everything is purple and blue.
Alecthelm 8 Sep, 2020 @ 7:05am
fuck. gotta do this one also to the 2 older ones...fucking addiction to GF maps;)
me22ca 6 Sep, 2020 @ 7:34pm
Well, I don't think I said anything, but you can count me as one of those people who saw custom rail networks and just skipped it. So thanks for the update :)
Midnighttigger 6 Sep, 2020 @ 2:08am
Me be totally normal and starting at the other side of the map out of the valley (well technechly in it) but its in the dessert
Greyflame  [author] 5 Sep, 2020 @ 5:02pm
@TheBullfrog89 - DLC usually refers to paid, official content in this context. Maps with no workshop requirements at all are usually listed as "vanilla."
AstroCleric 4 Sep, 2020 @ 4:28pm
Extraordinary map. A real joy to play on!
Greyflame  [author] 2 Sep, 2020 @ 11:48am
Thanks guys :D

@Siv_V - the theme is SCT-Homecoming, listed in the Required Items list. Make sure to grab the whole list!

Josetty 2 Sep, 2020 @ 6:43am
i really loved the first greenway map and now this one. Thank you!
Redstone 1 Sep, 2020 @ 12:52pm
Thanks for creating a non-DLC version for us who don't have DLCs.
