rules actually work in your case, you can use scripted gui as trigger from clausewitz to jomini, then use selectlocalization or visible to use those trigger.

@Everyone: All addons work fine for me with the current version of the framework. Just in case I want to remind everyone that the framework needs to be at the top of the loading order - before all addons. If the bugs still persist then it might be a mod collision.
As long as I'm unable to reproduce the problem I can't give a better answer.

Regarding the update of addons: I still have to check them for problems (the weight one didn't give me trouble, so I thought an update would be unnecessary). But I currently have a lot of work. I will probably get to it somewhere during the next week.

@WPizza: The fertility value exists independent from age caps, which forbid pregnancy.

in my game there are women around 50 - 59 with fertility 100, and children aged 3-4 with fertility 50%
how is it possible? this is not reality :)

Is there anyway to disable map tooltips with this mod? Asking here since few of the other tooltip modders seem to be recently active. Bigger Font lets you do it, but then you have to want the big fonts too, and I'm trying to make less map clutter :) A mod that simply hid, disabled, or put a delay on the map tooltip would be a godsend. Thanks!

@humberto.quijano: I'm well aware about that, because those are the only lines in which my mod derivates from the original lines. If you replaced them with the original, you just neutered my mod.

My problem regarding the bug you mentioned is, that these lines don't reference known languages (not in the original file, nor in my mod), so why does it effect the languages show to you?

From my point of view, the most likely explanation is a mod conflict. Everything that changes character_window_l_english.yml would result in a problem.

With a savegame I could do a few test myselfs. You could add me as a friend and send me the file directly in the steam chat (there is an option to attach files), if inserting a link here doesn't work.

I found the issue and fixed as an override to your mod. I only fixed for the English version.
The problem is with the file "character_window_l_english.yml" on the 5.0 version there are a few new lines and changes to existing lines that handles new features like the spoken languages. Basically I copied the vanilla game file and override it with your changes.
I don't know how to link or post files here, so hope this information is good enough for you to fix it.

@Dratoran I opened a new playlist with just the debug console mod, your framework and its submods and works!

So it must be some incompatibility with other thing... weird and a pain in the ass to localize.

I cannot see the known languages, the tooltip opens but it shows like a reference instead of the proper info, something like KNOWN_SPOKEN_LANGUAGES

Came here to report this as well after hours of searching. Strange because it works just fine and the launcher even says it's updated. Not being able to see courtier names in court is a real pain though.

Breaks tooltips with the Royalty DLC. I see you haven't updated since March; odd that the launcher isn't warning me about incompatible mods.

It's not a serious issue, just makes you see string defs instead of names when highlighting people in the court room view.

Hi, meanwhile I got a bit experience in modding and I found out that it is not needed that your mod overwrites the whole character_window_l_english file. You can instead give the file a custom name (first letter should be after "t" so it loads after your tooltip files) and only include the relevant strings you need to overwrite. This way your mod is more compatible to game and oter mods :)

BUT:
although this works, sth really strange happens, maybe this is the reason you did not do it like this: (I use the german localization): The german vanilla string for "HEALTH_FINE_DESC_ME" is "Euch geht es gut". When I append anything after this, it won't show ingame, it will stay like this. Only if I change it somehow, eg. change the last letters: "Euch geht es gumnsdfnsdf" it will display everything correctly ingame. No clue why this happens...

@Dratoran: Of course there needs to be a way to directly fetch the values from the game. At discord someone that that it might be added in version 1.5 to fetch modifieres... but we will see.

The idea is interesting, but for something like this to work, you would need to know exactly the formulas how things interact with each other (e.g. how +1 administration of your char is accounted for in contrast to that of your spouse, counciler, etc.). That's beyond what I can do.

I'm new to crusader kings and currently doing the tutorial. And I wondered why there are so many tooltips, but not detailed enough. Eg. I had to chose to get 10% more income or +3 administration instead, but I found no tooltip how much administration would increase my income and therefore what I should choose.

Is it possible to use your framework and make such a "detailed tooltips" mod? Or is your mod something different from what I'm looking for?

So in short:
I would like to read in tooltips what the exact effects of character stats are (eg. +5% to income), and not only "does affect the income".
