If you want the world model to have some green on it too just use this mod.

The default MP5 world model was pretty shitty anyways.

perhaps this is could be a workaround to fix the M4 mod. Just change the player model, leave the world model as it was. I will look into it.

The original mod didn't change the world model's texture, it's not a bug the original mod just wasn't finished.

When you kill marines they drop the normal MP5 instead of the green one do you know if you can fix the model for that?

Yeah I don't think it'll be possible, the way the addon is built is completely different than how normal black mesa addons are made, as the M4 addon was made for the mod version of black mesa.

can you fix the M4 weapon? The AI will not shoot with it.
