i don't know why but anytime any of these pawns (from this mods faction) show up they make me really laggy if in numbers

you might want to make it so the faction's ideology never has any clothing precepts, it tends to mess up pawns

is it ok that the guns are only added when ce is on? because ingame it doesnt tell me the file location idk if that causes problms or not

Hi, I think this mod needs an update because the defs for Combat Extended Guns, Combat Extended Armory, and the Gun Nut guns have changed. When I did some test raids I noticed that the raiders from this faction didn't spawn with any guns at all except with the ones included in this mod. They just spawn with ammo associated with the gun and that is it.

Hi, pawns from this factions who use vanilla weapons like service rifles dont spawn with the weapons and just the ammo. Tried to look at the xml patches but couldn't figure it out myself as the service rifle from VWE is tagged correctly as TI_762ARifle so it should spawn with pawnkind TI_Regular_AR_762 ect but it doesn't, these rifleman dont spawn with weapons

Caravan from this faction have no trader or muffalos. You should add a trader pawn type.

There is not, though by default one of the industrial factions can be befriended, they just start off as generally hostile, like the rough outlander faction.

Try removing the mod from the list, restarting, and trying to load it onto the list again. This issue actually showed up precisely because I updated the mod to add in the packageId, from what I saw.

Game doesn't recognise this mod as a mod anymore. Must be what Tyrant is referring to with the mod missing the packageId entry.

This is an issue for saves running with this mod on as the game registers this as a missing faction. A missing faction, from experience, bugs the overworld map where it does not populate and it does not allow the player to leave the over world map without force closing the game.

Your mod is lacking a packageId entry in About.xml. These are important for providing compatibility and preventing loading errors. Just add something like <packageId>tostov.simpleindustrialfactions</packageId> to the file.

Yep, they're set up to spawn with only specific materials, in part to help keep their armor values consistent. The civil ones will generally have heavy fur or megasloth wool stuff. The warlike will use bluefur and muffalo wool.

traders stock / colony stock could be a good start. As would intergration of perhaps vanilla expanded in some capacity
