idk of it's really working or not. I used to see way more "battle spots" but now I started a game after like 6 months of not playing and I can't find any...or maybe, but i am not sure if these are the vanilla ones. how can i be sure??? thanks

Overall this mod is great but I think it may be causing a problem with Wood Elves doing their forestry battles. I go to where the battle is, it'll give me the option of the enemy then it'll just assume I won. Quite annoying as I'd like to fight these battles.

As I said, I'm not sure if this mod is the culprit but it's the only mod I'm using remotely similar to the Wood Elf missions and how they appear.

This mod is still functional for me as Greybeard prospectors.

And the Ogre camps work too, so whoever was complaining those didnt work must have a mod conflict elsewhere.

Works for me, they seem to spawn alot however and this could be a balance issue, 4 appeared near one of my armies near nuln and some of the encounters are just free gold essentially.

ulthuan as well is an area of concern, picking up these and sea treasure just made it easier than it already is, maybe they can be locked out from spawning in ulthuan.

This mod still works fine, please check before asking the creators for updates, I can only imagine how annoying it can be.

Can confirm still works. Playing as beastmen, encounters are still present and working fine and Ogre Camps are also working perfectly fine too so not sure what mod @Hallvard is using but this doesn't break Ogre Mercs Camps at all. All good :steamthumbsup:

It works for me and i have 300+ active mods including SFO. It does still grant me reward even if I retreat tho.

This doesn't work with SFO. Nothing happens when you go onto the circl on the land. Sea battles still work fine though.

I don't know if its because of my mod list, but whenever I start a land encounter, the enemy just runs away and I get money for "winning" the battle lol.. Anyone else experience this?

Works for me, the odd encounter doesn't fire a battle but it's running alongside many other mods!

I'm having 3 issues with this mod.
1) Rite of Awakening does not trigger the Slaan Mage-Priest magic lore choice dialogue, making it impossible to recruit Slaan Mage-Priests. It works once this mod is removed.
2) If I remove the mod, the game will crash when I save.
3) (known) land encounters do not always trigger.

#1 together with #2 means that my current Lizardmen save is bricked since I cannot recruit Slaan Mage-Priests even if I remove the mod.

Can you adapt the "blue light" effect present on the vanilla sea encounters? Or maybe use the quest effects, similar to this mod: https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2390612636

It's hard to see the land encounters in the campaign map, a big flashlight on it could help the blind people like me lol

It is possible to make so that the Army did not retreat in treasures after the fight because they do not receive awards because of it :(

Has anyone had problems with this mod when playing vampire counts? The encounters trigger but there are no quest rewards. Probs one of my mods but I've been using the same mod list for months now without encountering this problem. Any feedback is appreciated.

I would love to see Varied Sea Encounters picked up! That and this mod were the perfect companion mods for one of my favorite details about this game.

Hi Vandy I was just wondering if you'd be willing to pick up the Varied Sea Encounters mod as well? I'd assume it is pretty similar to this but I don't know. Going against VCoast at sea constantly is quite boring. Regardless thank you very much for reuploading Land Encounters!

Just wanted to give some feedback. Don't know if its valuable since you stated you were going to refactor the mod anyway. Let me know where- and if you want feedback at this stage:

I tried to drag two armies into one encounter by having them close to one another and triggering an encounter. It resulted in skipping the battle and going straight to the reward!

The reward was a 10 turn build cost reduction buff and tax increase. The buff is applying but I can't see it listed anywhere(I expect it should show up in the top panel?)
I've got a save game of it if you want it.
