@FirstBornAcorn The tech-level is defined in the game files, so simplest is to look there. Or just add the mod and look in the log as it logs all things removed on game-start.

Wish there was an option to ignore mechanoid weapons when removing spacer items.

Alternatively, maybe an option to remove spacer items from traders? Odd to see medieval-level traders have power suits.

Besides that, pretty good mod :steamhappy:

As a heads up, this might cause a bug where raids will break and no longer occur, even through dev mode. Possibly caused by trying to call up pawn types which the mod disables, but my limited testing didn't reveal the exact cause, only that it stopped happening after this mod was disabled.

fyi this disables the pirate faction too, so going into settings and enabling spacer factions (you can disable mechanoids, either when creating the world or afterwards when it asks if you want to add them) might be a good idea if you dont want basically only tribal raids

@Vartarhoz If you are on 1.4 you can just remove the Mech-faction when creating the game to achieve that.

Would this remove psylinks ? i had a pawn with a psylink that did not spawn when i created a new colony and i tought this might cause it. Are psylinks considered spacertech ? i guess they are ? and if so its an item then but could i remove items but enable spacer pawns and he would spawn ? anyone tried this or know if psylinks are removed ? thanks.

the ResourceTracker still attempts to track spacer tech resources even when they should be removed, causing errors. Can you patch this out?

Ok I've checked and it's a direct incompatibility I'm afraid. No other mods and prepare carefully fails to load and claims incompatibility. Any advice or potential fixes? Thanks for taking the time to reply :)

Hi thanks for the reply - when I click prepare carefully, it comes up with a warning saying prepare carefully can't launch due to incompatibility with a mod. I then removed this mod from my list and it worked. Am I the only one having this issue? I tried moving it before or after! Thanks for continuing the mod anyways!
