I'm happy with any update, however small [biased of course]. And honestly awesome that you're already on the SE2 version cause that's gonna be one of the major determining factors for when I consider it playable enough for me to switch over. I can live without some mods but I'm not going anywhere without my glowy green reactors.

What would everyone think about if I did update 5.6 to add in the cockpit and assembler? and leave the new stuff like the antenna, data cards, remodelled cargo tank, O₂ tank, and cargo container, sloped thrusters, and bug fixes and balances for update 6? It has been a while.

Azimuth Remastered 2 is coming to SE2. Here's a texture comparison of the cockpit.

SE2 doesn't have metal_military, paintedmetal_darker, and a few other textures, so some of the old SE textures are going to need to be kept. The interior fabric looks more fabric-like, so that's cozy. I'll add more screenshots to the link later.
yeah the controls are something most people get hang up on as you need to set the weapon itself or a weapongroup into the toolbar with either mousefire (to fire them with lmb and to be able to then guide guided munitions in manually if the weapon has been set up to do so) or keyfire (to fire them with the key you set for keyfire in single shots) and not via the vanilla way of pulling them out of the weapon category. it allows you to use multiple weapons at once that way and you can even set it up to get a prefirepoint for each weapon as long as you have still channels for that open (think maximum was 5).

I'm not big brain enough to even get WC working on it's own. :P Normal gatling guns don't fire and I keep borking stuff up. At least last time I tried to play with it, but thanks! This helps a lot for anyone else having issues.
as for having weapons in the world before adding wc that are handled by the replacer integrated int owc or an alternate replacer (aka weapons coming with se itself) it is recommended to rebuild them to ensure proper replacement as well as doing it if they where build with wc in the world and wc got removed.
to my point of understanding and was has been explained se itself can only handle one full blown weaponframework (for example: vanilla, weaponcore) but multiple weaponframeworkaddons (for example: vanilla+, rearths advanced combat system) and thus a modded weaponframework will break the vanilla weaponframework resulting in a nonworking ai and the weaponframeworks not beeing able to see each other munitions as the most major problem points coming from it. its also something that needs some changes on the keen side to get alleviated outgoing from what was explained in the past.

as for removing nonwc weapons by wc that has been integrated due to a massive influx of reports of nonworking ai on nonwc weapons while it was multiple times clearly stated that using wc would break the vanilla ai, there is also a infopoint about it inside the moddescription of wc.

It's always hard to remove such advanced weapon mods XD nah I'm kidding, I know what you mean! But seriously, yeah, I'm glad that issue, I was getting worried it something on my end. Honestly, it's annoying that weapon core does that. I don't see why they can't have both, heck, they even remove blocks from other mods at some point which I THINK? goes against steams workshop T&C? I could be wrong. After update 6 I'll look into weapon core again as a separate version.

ah i see but im not sure if i turned it off correctly but even after turning weaponcore off the issue still persists, i tested it quickly so i dont remember if i tried replacing the turret back down or anything so if i removed it mid run would it just be stuck forever or was it just the weapons that were placed down before i removed it

That's your issue. Weapon core annoyingly and actively breaks mods with weapons that aren't compatible. There's been fights between other modders here and there and any time I TRY to get something, I'm told hand weapons have lock on and then I'm told there's not, then there is, and when I try to get any for of help, I'm tossed back and forth and bleh.. But yeah, Weapon Core purposely by design.. breaks mods with weapons that aren't weapon core compatible.

They work fine for me in my game. So your installation for SE could be corrupt. I would verify game files first to ensure none are corrupted somehow.

Is too bad I can't view those images you linked. xD Imgur banned the use of all VPNs on their domain so now I can't view any part of their website whatsoever unless I turn off the VPN completely. Which I don't do. I take a stance against organizations that are deliberately anti-privacy and all.

However I hope to see more on this soon. I've been waiting around for its progress before I introduce any of it into my gameplay. Its kind hard for me to start using mods though cause I have to disable magic stuff like ion thrusters and reactors when I play. However mods that add that stuff, its impossible to do so due to how the game is coded.

When the "Modding Suite is available in VS-1.5" or whenever modding for SE2 comes out, I'll be doing Azimuth Remastered² I'll still continue working on update 6, I'm just taking a break and I still need to setup blender on my computer. I've just been a little lazy and on break.

I'm going to move all the azimuth blocks(aside from the assembler) into this new "crafting table" so that I don't clutter up the vanilla crafting table. How does that sound? Assembler is in the extras.

The LCDs are all built in, so none of that awkward placement stuff, and there's moar LCD than the original! AND the canopy is a separate part so that it has it open and closes.

This mod has updated models, textures and code. But this isn't as complete as the azimuth mega pack.

What is the difference between this mod and the Azimuth mega mod pack which was last updated 5/15/24? Do I need both mods to have everything or do I only need 1 of the 2 mods?
