IIRC, that what it was like for me if I've tried to launch this mission solo through singleplayer. You still have to host the mission as multiplayer even if you want to play alone.

Read under the title "How To Launch Mission Solo or LAN" near the end of the description, that's the method that works.

I still don't know if the helicopter bug is fixed, though.

As the @DarkNinjaCorporation said in the comments, "The Device" never arrived for me too, and I've also found helicopter just floating somewhere near the drop zone. I've also encountered another bug, I think: I've tried to launch the mission solo and the player character seems to be immune to damage from spooks which ends in them just kicking the player character around without any chance to retaliate. I think that "Spooks: Livonia" has the same bug: I've finished that one, but I don't remember receiving any damage from the spooks.

What you’re experiencing is the Spooks mod in action. It alters player speed and especially AI speed. Some of the Spooks will react very quickly and un-naturally to what you’re used to in Arma.

Love the scenario but there's some kind of speed problems with the mod. Like it seems like time passes 2X as fast, when you run, it's like you're sprinting, there's a key that can be set for adjusting time speed (by default I believe it's - to go slower and + to go faster but it seems like it just doesn't even work at all in this scenario.
Am i just imagining this? It also makes some of the monsters in there go sooo fast for the human eye.
Please look into it.

Argh damn AI 🤬 will have a look at it over the weekend.
Might remove/rework the helo ending all together. Sometimes weird AI things happen in multiplayer environment as it’s definitely worked fine before.

Awesome mod! Minor issue was when we got to the end and were waiting for "The Device" the heli didnt actually deliver it, and instead just floated 50 feet in the air 1km away

I know the AI aren’t very good at traversing Tanoa 🤦‍♂️
Just got caught up in a few other projects. But yes I will definitely port this to a few other maps as soon as I can.

In the meantime I have a Soooks mission in Livonia. That plays itself well to this theme ✌️

hmm the Huron should've dropped the device pretty much bang on where the markers for it's LZ pop up.

We had the Huron fly over, but we checked all over the drop zone on the map and a few klicks in every direction in case it wound up landing off course (I assumed maybe the AI was not cooperative) but we still didn't find anything, and since we weren't exactly sure what we were looking for we gave up after about 10mins.

As for the explosives, we probably did spawn in with the explosives but we re-armed at the armory and didn't think we'd need the explosives so we didn't bring them. I think it automatically tasked us to the Vampire Graves first, and I didn't even realize we had two tasks until I was checking the map to see if maybe we could find explosives somewhere.

Yeh a new stalking feature was added to the Wendigos where there's a chance they'll just follow and stare at players. Will remove the chance of that in next update.

The Device is airlifted in to a marked out position on the map. Did your play through not have an airlift Huron fly over at all?

Also each unit is supposed to have x2 explosives on them. Sometimes loadouts bug out and things disappear, esp if running other weapon/gear mods.
I'll check the loadouts make sure I didn't forget to include explosives in the next update

Neat, but the Wendigo AI didn't work at all, they just kind of stood around which took a lot of the tension out of them being everywhere. Also, "The Device" never spawned so we spent around 10 minutes running around in circles at the drop point not finding it before quitting.

Also as an aside, it would probably behoove you to let players know they'll need explosives ahead of getting an objective requiring explosives when you can't re-arm anywhere. Fortunately we could loot the two downed DeltaX guys nearby but that was a bummer.

@gameoverlordN7 that means you're missing the core mod (not dlc) which this mission is built upon.
It's listed on the right under "Required Items" and is the only requirement.

DeltaX operators are who you play as in this mission, and they are part of "Drongo's Spooks & Anomalies", which again is listed on the right side of this page under "Required Items".
The mission will not play without the core mod loaded.

It does say that no dlc is required on the in game info for the map, is that wrong? I've got Apex and some other basic stuff like helis and karts but none of the big ones.

Currently working on a non-Spooks mission on Malden (which will be vanilla), so once that one is complete I'll do something Spooky for all the vanilla guys :rockon:
