@ChickenSauce, that will be the Orion. And as you asked for it (as did others, I've now decided to add it. You can find it here: https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2698568910 enjoy :)

What is that even larger ship in fourth picture if I may ask and will you post it?

Changes (23-11-2021): Version 62

- Reworked the armour: Turrets reinforced to protect against missiles better, Reinforced engine room armour and on general made the hull 200.000 kg lighter. She now sits where she needs to sit (in the water) and is now faster (26 versus 23 m/s)

This thing does pretty well against everything except a Megaladon, but the megaladon is significantly more expensive, so I'm not even mad.

Cool, thanks for keeping your designs current.

I should note that the current changes are in anticipation of a new stable version. When you use this ship in the campaign I advise you to wait for a bit until you update the vessel.

Changes (7-12-2020): Version 58

- Reworked the LAMS to be less vulnerable
- Added munition detectors, and deconnected existing ones from the mainframes
- Added extra armour around the ringshields in critical areas (where the beam might cause large damage)
- Replaced ACB logic for the ringshields and ECM so that they turn off when not in combat once again
- reprioritized the engines so that the auxillary engine isn't running at full power all the time.
- Disconnected the smoke system and laser designators from the mainframe, improving overall armor.

Hi GhostLeader, lasers are pretty much the bane of everything, yeah. You can turn up the output of the smoke dispensers, and I might put out another revision to counter laser craft a bit better soon.
Have fun with the vessel!

That was for sure user error last time, your ship destroyed the scarlet dawn ship.
GhostLeader675 23 Nov, 2020 @ 9:50am
I sent the ship to capture a grey talons tile but just as it got there the sagittarion got there at the same time and when the tile was captured it went to the scarlet dawn causing me to declare war for trespassing on their territory, which instantly blockaded the low energy Jupiter giving it no time to really recharge which may have been the issue of the lams not stopping all of the missiles. but yes it can handle a fight, I crushed the onix watch with it. but I think almost anything has a hard time fighting lasers, as I always have a hard time with the lighting hoods with their 100m/s thruster crafts which can cut my ships that I design in half.

A Sagittarion badly damaging the Jupiter? Was it just one or were there more? In the shakedown of this ship I tested it against the Sagittarion and it was no match for the Jupiter, with the latter barely taking any damage. I just tested again and same results. In general the Jupiter should be able to face Godly targets up to 1,5 times its cost (although it struggles with vessels that have laser weaponry).
Regardless, I'm glad that you like the design, but it should be easily able to cope with the Sagittarion :)

I have to applaud you for the design, I had the surprise attack from the Scarlet Dawn Sagittarion and your ship survived although with heavy damage

Hi Sheepish, that'll be the Orion. It has only recently been completed so it needs to perform a good shakedown before I publish it! I want every design to be performing well enough, even if not perfect, so that usually requires some time to discover issues with it (think about armour setup issues, defences, weapons, vulnerable spots, et cetera).

But don't worry, I'll upload it in due time! Stay tuned :)

Excuse me sir, but where might the larger ship in that last picture be? Please upload it if you can, I would love a closer look at its beautiful craftsmanship!

Changes (12/11/2020):
- Reduced the overall size of the ammo stores. They were designed under the old system. The bow and stern tended to be blown out quite badly nowadays
- Increased smoke dispenser material usage to counter lasers better.
