But why can't you copy the entity name?

You can also copy the and material, which you can paste for the console command "material_override" which allows the material tool to apply the texture to a prop.

Stop downvoting this, this mod is entirely functional.
What it does is copy data to clipboard when you use it.
So if you did copy model on a barrel, then pressed Control-V in a text area, it would paste models/props_c17/oildrum001.mdl
