Is it possible to get the texture of the red in the red coats to be colour-changed to fit with the colonist's favourite colour or the faction/ideology colour? I'd love a version of the regiment clothes that can come in more colours than red, for bright blue coats and green coats to clash on the field.

It means it accepts a category of Stuff. Those categories include Fabrics, Leathers, Stones, Metal, and so on. This is how, for example, you can have a Pigskin Parka.

I somewhat wish that the cartridge box would share functionality with the Quiver/Ammo Pouch from VAE: Accessories.

Even the slightest boost in reload speed (Between 3-5%) could make the difference between having a rag-tag militia or having a well-trained fighting force worthy of the King's uniform.

That said, there are some things that could definitely fit everywhere. I would definitely give the Fancy Breeches and the Fancy Hats, etc., the Royal Tag so that the Shattered Empire can spawn with them. I think it would also be cool if they sell them.

In fact, if you want to go so far, you can even make a XML Patch that causes a new Pawn Type to put a person with your clothing into existing Factions .

The first one on my mind is the Vanilla Factions Expanded Medieval Mod. As there is nothing between the Industrial Revolution and the Agricultural Revolution in this Mod except Medieval, this stuff belongs there, in the Medieval Technology Tier. You can create a set template that a Pawn always calls from (e.g. how the Shattered Empire creates the Bestower versus a Cataphract) and give him your stuff.

In fact, using XML Patches to inject it as a Pawn Template might be even better than just making a dedicated Faction.

Ok looks like some of the stuff was double-tagged for both neolithic and industrial, so the odds of seeing that stuff basically every raid was really, really high. I removed the tags for now, so you actually won't encounter these items from raids (but you can still make them!). @TurtleShroom, you're right, this is the best solution, and something I would really want to do. Unfortunately, I have a bunch of stuff for my actual job, so I don't really have all that much time to put into making a whole faction right now. I'm going to try to make it a priority and so it can play along with ideology stuff as well in the next few month or so.

Unfortunately, the clothing in this Mod spawn on almost everyone and replace pretty much everything around them. Could you consider limiting them or, even better, placing them exclusively in a Faction that uses Bolt-Action Rifles and such? There seem to be no exceptions to Factions buying these. The Regimental Coats and Forage Caps are the worst offenders.

Hello, first off awesome mod and thank you for making it.

Although it seems at least in my game almost every pawn that enters the map is wearing some piece of clothing or gear from this mod, I'm not sure if this is a ME problem or if its the mod but could you let me know please? Thanks. :steamthumbsup:

For cool muskets *with* bayonets I can recommend Kit's Gunpowder Weapons (the musket, blunderbuss and cannon complement this mod very nicely, the hand cannon too, if you're looking to outfit some grenadiers)
