Great, I totally leave you the possibility of modifying my mod and creating your own mod yourself, it doesn't bother me at all.
My mod is completely Un-Updated / Outupdated, so do what you want, and good game ! :)
The_Sea_Four 24 May, 2023 @ 7:53am
I'd love it if this included the orbital rings, but I'm going to have a go at doing it myself.
'Zee Kat 13 Mar, 2023 @ 11:18pm
i can create starbases from the galaxy map no problem, and my ship will only build 1 star. Could u create a collection with your current mods so i can take a look? Had similar issue before and solved by removing a outdated mod that affected some planet generation parameters since it changed how the line of the code works on the last dlc.
jojobe 13 Mar, 2023 @ 6:51am
This does work it just you cant make new starbases from the galaxy map because it will create a starbase on every world. The only work around is to manually go in the system click where you want the star base and it will then only make one starbase.

You are free to not subscribe to the same if you so wish and continue with the vanilla system.
When it comes to customization, you can simple add a few lines of code on the starbase.txt to be able to change the slots as you so desire.
Argon 3 Feb, 2023 @ 12:39am
completely OP.
Another useless starbase mod nobody needs.
What this game FINALLY needs is a mod (because Paradox is too stupid for that) that allows you to customize your starbase armament.
TotoGamer  [author] 4 Dec, 2022 @ 4:11am
@To all,
I can't take care of this mod currently, the content of the game has changed, you have to make changes that you have to study beforehand to do so. You are free to modify my mod and do what you want, I am not an expert in Stellaris modding, you just have to do the same thing as me when I made this mod, I had studied the files of the game and uploaded other mods similar to mine to make my own mod, do like me, make your own mod using mine and compare other mods. If I had succeeded, you can also do it, you just have to spend a little time...
Musashi 4 Dec, 2022 @ 12:12am
@Starknight . Would it be possible to get rid to all the starbase buildings leaving only the slots? Seems you have the perfect addition for Star trek New Civilizations. Tested, and without the buildings would be ok. Works in 3.6 seems.

Update?
Jauqee 17 Sep, 2022 @ 12:21pm
Been looking for a mod that 'only' increases modules and weapons for a while now. The others on the workshop go too far or completely overhaul all the buildings that go with it. I'd like to use this one. Any word if it has been updated or if someone else has taken it over?
CowabungaDude85 25 Aug, 2022 @ 11:31am
I just found this mod.
CowabungaDude85 25 Aug, 2022 @ 11:31am
Please find the energy and time to update. Much appreciation!

@Soviet_Senpai_UwU
Normal, I haven't updated this mod for a long time, I haven't played Stellaris for quite a while.
Soviet_Senpai_UwU 24 Aug, 2022 @ 6:48am

Temporary hotfix until the original mod gets updated. Still need to check if the ui is working as intended, but the main issue with multiple starbases have be fixed.
bmmb 19 May, 2022 @ 9:01pm
construction ship builds so many starport....
jbezue18 13 May, 2022 @ 6:59pm

End Mii 12 May, 2022 @ 6:58pm
IDK why but on the current version you can place starbases on planets now. Kinda fun actually, would make a good spin off mod

rocterius 27 Jan, 2022 @ 6:31am

TotoGamer  [author] 6 Jan, 2022 @ 10:53am
Hi guys, not just yet but I will see what I can do, I don't promise you, I have a lot of work to do elsewhere. :)
jpwill 3 Jan, 2022 @ 5:01pm
Any chance that this mod will be updated for the latest version of the game?
†MLS† KIRINAS ';,†,;' ;,,; 29 Jul, 2021 @ 5:42am
Does it work on 3.0?
Aus1rathia 30 Jan, 2021 @ 12:09am
About Starbase Cap, it seems +5% from Pops ended too much in later game with multi Ecumenopolis and Ring Worlds.

Decrease it to 0.1% and let Systems give +15% instead would be better. (For reference, Systems give 10% in current vanilla.)
Bombat 28 Jan, 2021 @ 11:04am
I love your mod, but it's strange, the mod just stopped working one day, tried to re-subscribe - it didn't help, can you have any ideas?:steamsad:
Rogueone 19 Jan, 2021 @ 8:27am
@StarKnight Its called. At War: Starbase Improvements there is 2.8.1. version
TotoGamer  [author] 18 Jan, 2021 @ 5:40pm
@Rogueone
I don't know, I dont know this mod.

@MYSTERIO
Thanks.
Brulikrax 18 Jan, 2021 @ 3:29pm
MYSTERIO, try NSC2 Season 5 mod they have it all and it's working (that's the fix for me). It is great for RP and co-op.
StarbaseSlots is way better for PvP.
MYSTERIO 18 Jan, 2021 @ 2:58pm
I love this, and the more building slots 28 because they do not change the UI in a ridiculous way where i cant see things (UI overhaul mod), i really appreciate this mod, thank you for making it
Rogueone 17 Jan, 2021 @ 10:07pm
Is this compatible with At war: Starbase upgrade?
Brulikrax 15 Jan, 2021 @ 12:26pm
Also I found my fix.
Brulikrax 13 Jan, 2021 @ 9:32am
Gauntlet is right. Do what you think is right. 5 or 10 it does not matter for competative players. They will never use them, because they are done by the time they unlock 'em.:lunar2019madpig:
Gauntlet 12 Jan, 2021 @ 12:43pm
Well, let me just say... stick to your own vision. There's plenty of other mods for other people.
TotoGamer  [author] 12 Jan, 2021 @ 10:15am
OK thank you for your comment, I appreciate it. :)

I'll think about your suggestion. Right now I don't have too much time, but I would later improve this mod or would make a new one, without removing this one.

It's very difficult to keep everyone happy :

- Some ask me to add 1 thousand slots (I'm exaggerating but they ask for a lot more).
- And others ask me to reduce it.
- And still others ask me to increase weapon slots
- ... etc.

So, I'll see what I can do... A little later.
I'll keep you posted.
Gauntlet 12 Jan, 2021 @ 8:29am
Hey there. I'm a little late to the party.

I just want to say, that I appreciate what you are doing here. This is a great and simple mod.

1) I really appreciate that the mod does not add modules, there are plenty of mods that do this, and overlap would be less useful.

2) I actually think you went too far with slots lol. I think you should reduce it by half, but maybe add an ascension perk that adds the (now reduced) additional slots back to full.

Regardless, this is a really nice mod, and I appreciate your work.
JorgenK1974 8 Jan, 2021 @ 10:21am
hmm could you make it that the base star base have least 1 module capacity, then I don't need to upgrade it to make it a tradehub and the like to get the benefit of the rings to energy credits without the strain on my limit of upgraded starbases (which of course I will use solely for military purposes, if that happens)
 Kekadoodle  3 Jan, 2021 @ 1:07pm
I really do like this mod but I feel like the additional building slots kinda end up being useless. If there were more buildings to choose from, I think it'd be perfect.
Rogueone 3 Jan, 2021 @ 12:44pm
Is this compatible with building slots?
Brulikrax 28 Dec, 2020 @ 9:52am
Maybe, but then you probably use a lot of bases... in MP 35 is just right (with mods included).
lolic_lol 28 Dec, 2020 @ 9:34am
Brulikrax, Depends on the number of mods. I have a lot of them, and many add buildings and base modules. 60 is just right for me.
Brulikrax 28 Dec, 2020 @ 3:36am
ScrapyardBob, I bet you do competative PvP...
lolic_lol, 60 is overkill man. No one needs that many.
The whole thing is about having at least 35 of each, but with the improovements variety. The game lasts a long time you know, so 35 is the most reasonable amount, especially if you are a one planet man. The problem with it is that the AI has to be able to do the same as the player. Otherwise it's no fun.:cozyroe2:
MosaPudica 27 Dec, 2020 @ 10:43am
Very nice. Looking forward to trying this out as I've always wanted a tiny bit of "moar slots" on my starbases.
lolic_lol 22 Dec, 2020 @ 3:17am
Not enough). I am using a tuned Starbase - Extended mod, with 60 module slots and 60 building slots. And this is barely enough.
Brulikrax 20 Dec, 2020 @ 2:53pm
Whatever you do is fine, just the amount of slots is tiny.
TotoGamer  [author] 20 Dec, 2020 @ 6:41am
It's just my personal opinion. ;)
TotoGamer  [author] 20 Dec, 2020 @ 6:36am
If I improve it, I will make another mod, keeping this one intact, or I will make several small mods compatible with each other, so that everyone can find their account, and choose what they want. One big mod imposes too much on you, whereas if there are several small mods, you can choose the ones that suit you and ignore the others...
TotoGamer  [author] 20 Dec, 2020 @ 6:30am
It is far from perfect it could be improved but I prefer small mods and not super huge mods which completely change the game, whereas often players are looking for a little change of one thing and not others stuff that completely turns the game upside down, so much so that it's not the same game you bought anymore, for good reason ...
TotoGamer  [author] 20 Dec, 2020 @ 6:24am
It's just a little mod that doesn't really change much. But thanks ! :)
