Great map! what did you use from the workshop to create the hot springs?

is there a way to choose which tile to start off in? It's putting me in a place where the highway isn't connected, so no one can move into my city

Loving this so far! The beginning can be tricky with all of the terrain, but I was able to grow my city with tunnels and bridges.

This map makes me wanna be a cowboy.

@r0xjo0 Any chance of a version without network extensions 2? There's been a lot of issues with that mod. Totally understand if not but really wanted to give this map a try.

Do you need the temperate base map theme or tropical, I went for the first one, I hope i'm right! Marvelous map :lunar2019grinningpig:

snowfiltzer. Thank you for the feedback. I don't know how many hours I spent. I would say 6 weeks, but mostly on the weekends with a few during the day. Perhaps 40 to 60? It was rather involved.

A beautiful map, fabulous terrain work, the waterfalls are amazing mate. Love the rail.
Thank you very much.
May I ask how many hours you spent making it so beautiful?

Este es uno de los mejores mapas que e visto en todo el Workshop, muchas felicidades, has hecho un estupendo trabajo!

Is it reeds? I placed a lot of reeds on the map. Might also be sprites turned on in theme mixer? As far as I can tell, there is only one location where shrubs are on the road but that is by design as a detailing of an abandoned road by an old cabin. Perhaps you can email me a screenshot at r0xjo0@gmail.com

I have a few hundred hours in to Cities, and started a city using this map. Really nice work -- good detail and aesthetics. A question for the creator: I have trouble with some kind of green shrub growing over the ground and roads near low-lying watery areas. I've never seen this before. Is this a function of the map design, or some other effect that I just haven't encountered in previous cities? Thanks for the help, and thanks for creating this nice map.

Thanks for the feedback. The North East side of the central ridge is themed around Rocky Mountain National Park. Enjoy.

This one is fun, as it reminds me of the small mountain towns in Colorado.

I am working on a desert map next. I found a really amazing terrain party location to work with. Hopefully it will be ready in a few weeks.

Glad to hear it. I was worried that I perhaps clicked a Mass Transit road in my haste. NEX2 has several roads that are almost exact copies of the MT versions. Hope you enjoy the map.

Thank you so much, I missed Network Extention 2 and that was what fixed it. I had gotten all the other settings correct including white snow... Nice job on the Map, Love it. :steamhappy:

Unless I made a slip, no dlc required. You will need network extension 2 though. I will double check. I might have let a mass transit road slip. I will fix it tomorrow morning.
Sasqtch 20 Dec, 2020 @ 11:16am
Is there a DLC required for highway traffic? I would imagine Mass Transit DLC? But I couldn't get some roads when I launch the map and thought it likely there are road-types I am missing by not having such a common DLC. Looks good though.

Thanks for the kind words. If you notice any issues, please let me know and I will fix them right away.

Thanks joseph. Go check out the river system on the North end of the map.

It's too beautiful, I almost feel like I'd be despoiling nature.
