I can confirm that this mod is causing a CTD, at least when using UI Overhaul Dynamic. Its at the absolute bottom of the load order and the game CTDs when this mod is active

This mod is literally a single file: starbase_view.gui. I highly doubt it's causing a CTD.

anyone else have a problem with this it's making my game crash even though its only a UI mod? and can anyone point me toward something like this that does not add stuff but just changes the UI so the starbases can have more building/modules

you know how to add extra starbase modules and building slots in files? The nsc guys changed it but I want to change it back to the old version.

fwiw. there's a minor graphics glithc with this mod if used along side dynamic ui and tiny outliner (i belive) which makes the dismiss button appear partly on top of the bottom most row of starbase building slots

I''ve fixed it using the instructions in the thread you pointed me to. I can't thank you enough for the help tonight. It's nice to deal with someone so friendly and helpful.

About 2/3 of my mods are 'Greyed' out, for want of a better term. They show enabled, but can't be disabled, or deleted from the playtest. I think this is what's causing it. I'll try the steps on your forum thread, thanks for the help so far.

@zulu, it appears to be a major problem with the workshop, or at least my workshop. Half my mods aren't working now even though they're showing installed and activated in the launcher. On a hunch I ran your mod locally and it works fine, it's simply the workshop version that won't work. I have absolutely no idea what could be causing this. Creating a new mod and moving the files of any mod that doesn't work to it, will resolve the problem if you share it, but clearly this isn't a viable long term solution.

My guess is that is something to do with the workshop. I just had a scenario where the Acquisition of Technology just stopped working when I loaded a save game with it. Have you tried the Reload Installed Mods button in the Manage All Mods screen in the launcher?

I could really use some help. Last night this mod (and another UI mod) worked perfectly fine. This morning when I get up, they now refuse to work. I have the exact same problem I had on the original mod. I have the extended starbase, just not the extended UI. Now please don't tell me that something is overwriting this because it isn't, I created a new playtest with only this mod and Extended Starbase in it and it simply won't work. I've tried re-subscribing but that won't work either. The vanilla UI is a monstrosity that is an afront to gaming. I really need this mod working so any help would be greatly appreciated.

@minuss: I know that CaptainX3 has released his own patch for the issue. But he could just as easily take it away again, and I've said that this will remain as an archive for this style of starbase UI, in case it is needed again.

@Erika: what error signs are you seeing? This mod is literally a single file, so I doubt it is causing them.

um...dude, CaptainX3 released an official compatibility patch. this mod is redundant

Just use the ui patch they made
it reduces the scrolling a lot

Thank the modding gods for you, my friend. For some reason this UI stopped working in the original mod but with this installed, it's back to normal. No more ginormous squares for a UI.

@amirfoox: I haven't experienced that bug, so I don't think that I will be addressing it.

I thought i was doing something wrong hah, I cant see any scroll bars either. Ty for this man.
