I hope this is still working. This game throws way too much at me and barely gives me anything in return. I never thought I'll go on easy mode on anything but this game is pissing me off now.

Thank you! There's still plenty of adrenaline in the firefights, but I don't have to play them over and over and over to keep from dying or walking around half dead. I can just immerse in the environment and the story.

I don't even notice any difference. I can't tell if it's working or not. Black Mesa doesn't have Easy difficulty anymore. It's just Normal difficulty.

Ya know when the protagonist is supposed to be a super cool and lifesaving badass, ya know, like doomguy or something... But then the standard difficulty is impossible. Which is why I put most games to easy, to immerse myself into the role of the character. But then we have Black Mesa...

This mod i not only like, but also appreciate very much. (Screw whoever was mocking it and the people who subbed) developers need to realize that its okay to have an easy mode. It really is. Because sometimes people want to start on it, or they gotta start on it. Some people want to get used to the game first before they go for the challenges it has others have medical issues to where its hard to keep up on a fast pace (dyslexia, low motor skills, etc) or they, like me, find it hard to really appreciate or admire the game visually and exploritively, when they gotta rush through trying to survive a getting even lightly scuffed (considering a slight graze put me from 100 hp to about 50 or 45, leaving the next outta nowhere hit to take me out) I get it, its gotta be real-time, but save that for when the player wants to go for it. Till then, let us enjoy the aesthetics ya put so much effort in that we won't ever see if you make it too difficuly to do so.

@Silentecho Goes beyond that, we also have people with lowered motor function, or other issues to worry about. I played this game on hard and found it challenging and fun, but I know some people that can't even play games like this on easy due to damaged nerves, or other disability issues. Games should be able to be accessed even if you have issues like that, so this could really help someone who might be having minor issues.

Not sure why people have to gatekeep... Some players just want to experience the story. You played on hard mode on your first playthrough? Wow, good for you, but not everyone wants to play on the difficulty they'll die on the most. Games are supposed to be fun, let people enjoy them the way they want to enjoy them.

This is also extremely useful if you are using a game controller, as they are not as precise compared to mouse and keyboard. Not everyone is a gaming competition winner, I have been playing games for more years than I care to remember but there are still much better players out there than me. You don't have to be a noob,scrub to want to use this mod. Keep the comments civil people.

Thanks, I enjoy many games mostly for their single player story and where the easy mode still gets me killed, which annoys me, it also helps my anger management issues too
