Just an update, I have finally found some time to start porting this over today. I have got it loading and playable already but there are quite a few cosmetic changes I need to make so it fits into WH3 before I will upload it to the workshop.
For example spell lores are now bound to one unit instead of being a whole new unit.
Hopefully I will be done soon depending on how hard these cosmetic changes are to fix.

Niiiiice! I can't wait for the TWW3 version. Ngl, only now am I realizing just how badly mods have spoiled me - I'm barely able to play without all of my favourites. Mixu's Legendary Lords, the extra landmarks, ect ect ect...

Great work but JESUS the heal spell that also restores ammo (up to 4 units) is WAY overpowered for WE.
For anyone else wanting to balance it for themselves but is a modding noob like myself, the edit is quite easy in RPFM.
Under DB find the folder "special_ability_phases_tables" and ammo restoration number is to the far right of the table, I changed it from 10/20 ammo restored to 2/3 personally.

Great mod otherwise, love the morale debugging ghosts that do no damage, thanks!

At current, this lore of magic isn't available to the Masque of Loec wood elf faction added in by Mixu's Legendary Lords. Could this be fixed, or?

Thanks for reporting that. Unfortunately I don't know if I am able to scale the animation based on the specs of the computer. Does this occur only when zoomed in or when looking at it from a distance, and do you have tree foliage turned on or off.

I'm having a performance bug where the spell Tree Singing causes intermitent freezes when you look at it. Like every 2-4 secs there is a small 0,5 sec freeze.

Hi Eyshma, Thanks for bringing that up. I believe I found the issue and should have fixed it. Could you please check it for me and let me know. Potentially you might need to go from a save from before you ranked up Ariel's blessing (hopefully not).

Ariel's blessing disappears from the character's skills once the second point is added. Could you please fix this? It's pretty much one of the greatest spells for archer-based armies.

Hi everyone, sorry for the delay. I have put out a patch that brings back the new forest animation and allowing it to interact with Fury of the Forest.
There are 3 minor issues that I am still working on which my previous version dealt with but had worse side effects.
1. Fury of the Forest will always work on moulder monster units even when they arn't in a forest.
2. Moulder monster specific abilities (from packmaster/throt) can now target all skaven if they are in a forest against a loren caster
3. Guardians of the Wildwood does not trigger in the Tree singing forest.

Regarding SFO I believe HashutChampion made a SFO submod for this. So big thank to them, so if you are using this mod with SFO and getting crashes try that one out.

I encountered another bug. Despite having put points into ariel's blessing the spell doesn't appear on my character. The character is a branchwraith with the murderous sprites trait.

yep, i can confirm that latest update of this mod keeps crashing my game (i play with sfo). Am halfway thru sisters campaign, and i cant load it at this point.

@Meltrix. You are correct, sorry for this. I think I know the cause, and its part of quite a large issue that will take me some time to solve. Therefore in the mean time I have reverted the mod before I made this large change and will hope to get a fixed version back on soon.

I think there is a bug in your mod. I've started a modded Drycha playthrough and every time a unit shatters in melee while in the forest it still fights, even to its death while being shattered. I've had the army losses occur but couldn't end the battles because they still fought to the death despite being shattered and having the symbol over their head. i Think it has to do with the buff/condition on enemy units that activates if they are in the forest. Somehow it gives them unbreakable without giving them unbreakable. After eliminating only your mod in my mod list everything works fine on a new campaign. (Trying playing the old campaign without your mod crashes the game).

@Morsrealm. Just pushed a change that should fix that issue and return the attributes to those units. I am surprised you knew to look at the tomb king constructs units for potential issues! Thanks for spotting that.

Wildwood rangers lose all of their attributes (resistances, hide in forest, etc.) except ones this mod adds (Faction specific unit, etc.).
Same thing with tomb kings constructs ( All of them).
Molder monsters seem to be fine.

I have a big update to announce.

This update improves the appearance of the Tree Singing spell and it now actually spawns tree models. (See the pictures in this mod as an example). This forest is randomly generated so expect that sometimes it can look a bit funny, Especially when casting it on hill. (you may see some trees get sent flying or be knocked to the ground)

This forested area will also now turn on all forested effects such as the wildwood ranger buff, and enemy units in this area can be hurt by the Fury of the Forest spell from this lore. So for nearly all intents and purposes acts identical to regular forest terrain!

The buffs that tree singing used to give wood elf units will no longer stack if cast within a forest, and they should now just receive the normal forest benefits regardless if they are in the magic forest, a regular forest or both.

Fixed bug where Spellsingers did not have their ward save skills.

@Malloxfire - I just tested this and its working fine for me. Are you overcasting it (double clicking the spell before targeting it? If that still doesn't work, it might be a mod incompatibility.

@JediMasterDraco - Thanks for the report. I have just fixed it in my version but I am currently in the process of a larger update so can't update the mod yet or else I would introduce a bunch of bugs. Hope to get it out over the weekend when I get some time to work on it..

I tested the mage in campaign only to find out that when I put 3 skill points into the "twilight host" spell, I was given the same Illusory waywatchers with no change to the greats stag knights it claims in the text that I would get access to.

fun fact: using sfo with hertz unit patrols also causes the lords in the patrols to get the drycha bug, so thats a thing that should be known

Concerning the unit cards bug, i experienced it only when using SFO alongside this (both with and without the patch). If you use it, the Spellsinger receives the Drycha unit card and model, but keeps their normal voice lines. I only experienced this in campaign, custom battles have the normal unit card.
This was all on a new campaign, with a newly recruited lord.
I took a dive through both this, and the SFO patches files, but i couldn't find anything which could be the culprit.

Hi everyone, I just updated the mod with the following changes and fixes:

Malevolent treeman ancient (loren) and branchwraith (loren) have been added to Drychas faction
Spellweaver (loren) and Spellsinger (loren) have been removed from Drychas faction
Fixed the skill links in the Spellweaver and Spellsinger skill tries
Spellweaver unicorn and great eagle swapped to the correct icons
Mounts from the Spellweaver and Spellsinger character skills now work properly

Regarding the unit cards bug making Drychas face appear where it shouldn't that was mentioned. I wasn't able to replicate this myself. Could you let me know if this is still happening in this update and if so under what conditions. Is it for spellweaver/spellsinger? Are they mounted? Is this unit card on campaign/battle/custom battle screen/recruitment? Are they are new lord or from a save game? Thanks!

First off, thank you for this mod, really enjoying it! As others have already reported, using this with SFO causes the unit cards to switch to Drycha. The patch by HashutChampion doesn't touch the portraits, and it also happens without it.
