I made a mod that slightly reduces the brightness down to a pleasing level for everyone who is upset!

@LNSS What values would these be? All I can find are values for zoom steps, not the actual map

You can change the opacity of the borders by modifying the values at gfx/map/map_modes/map_modes.txt, I did so in my Transparent Map mod.

I'm not decreasing the brightness because that's the only way I've found so far to reduce the opacity of the borders, and I don't want vanilla like borders.
Though, if I find a way to reduce it while keeping the borders like they currently are, I'll make an update

I want to love it but the brightness blinds me! I'd definitely use it if it wasn't so bright.

If the brightness would be turned down a bit, I'd really like this map!
