I know it's been ages, but do you think you could add to this and scale smaller ammo pickups like the pistol magazings, smg grenades and magazines to be smaller, matching the size of the w_models for the guns?

Yes, but I am busy making a mod for a different game. It's going to a big one, so I won't be updating my Half-Life content for months. You're just going to have to wait patiently.

Well, I haven't updated the Juniez Fixes yet. So when I have the time, I will update it. I also want to apologize, but it may not fix the multiplayer models.

1 - Juniez's model already included the silencer in the Juniez Classic Weapons addon.

2 - You got the wrong submission. At least comment on my Vanilla Weapon Fixes. The link is in the description.

I did not change anything from Juniez's 357 besides adding its bullets to the classic ammo box.

I discovered an actual fix without the overcharge issue! Here are the entries in "game_sounds_weapons.txt" I changed to fix it:

This still has the issue with one easily-canceled loop sound playing even when you cannot use a charged shot, but as I mentioned two posts ago shooting a normal shot or switching weapons instantly stops the false loop.

Sadly I discovered that the tau cannon loses its overcharging sound when using the tweak I made. Perhaps there's another way to tweak it to fix it?

I found a way to mostly fix it! It doesn't stop the charge sound from playing when you can't do a full charge (only able to fire regular shots), but it does stop the loop from stacking with multiple other loops, and it makes it completely go away when shooting a single shot again or switching weapons, making the issue fairly minimal.

In "game_sounds_weapons.txt" change "weapon_tau.SpinUp" to:

This is the best bandaid fix I could find so far. You are free to implement it in your mod, and you can credit me for the find if you don't mind!

I don't know how. The only thing I did to stop sounds that I should not hear is to go to the console command and type "snd_restart" or "stopsound." It may be lame but that is how I did it.

Thank you so very much from the bottom of my heart for making and maintaining this mod! You are awesome.

I have a bug in the Classic Weapons Pack I noticed that would be amazing if you could fix, or give me advice about even. Trying to shoot the charged shot for the Tau Cannon without having enough ammo for a full charge results in the charge sound playing despite it not being able to charge, and on top of that the sound can sometimes loop indefinitely.

I've tried fixing it myself by editing the script file for the Tau Cannon, mainly toying with the clip size, but I couldn't personally fix it.

Could you also fix the mortar sounds so it replaces the whistle instead of the firing sound? Maybe add some silence to the beginning of it so it's better timed

.............yeah. If you read in Juniez's Classic Weapons Pack Late New Year Patch or downloaded the latest version, the scripts for the weapons read the viewmodel under a different name. In this case, it reads model "v_glock_classic.mdl" The description for that submission also reads "IF THE PROBLEM INVOLVES ANIMATION ERRORS, PLEASE TRY LOADING A NEW SAVE, AS OLDER SAVES ARE INCOMPATIBLE WITH THIS PACK. WEAPONS CURRENTLY DO NOT WORK IN MULTIPLAYER." It maybe because you have an outdated version of the pack. If you want to preserve the outdated version, go into the .VPK file and extract it. Once you did that, go to "scripts\gameplay\weapons\weapon_glock.dmx." Now, search for text that reads: "viewmodel" "string" "models/weapons/v_glock_classic.mdl". Rename v_glock_classic.mdl to v_glock.mdl.

I have all the required mods installed including this one. The pistol viewmodel shows up as an error sign. No other models appear affected. Any way you can think of to fix that?
