does the mod work
Majo 8 Feb, 2019 @ 2:08am
Does it apply to the AI? Say for example, Seleucid's Satrapies at the beginning?
Scipio Africanvs 28 Jan, 2018 @ 11:59am
lol the thumbnail from care bears, loved that as a child man!
G.Strategos 15 Jan, 2018 @ 3:45am
I believe it's not compatible since it modifies our diplomacy tables. I'll forward it to the team though, so we could make it work.

Μελ θα το κοιτάξω εγώ προσωπικά αυτές τις μέρες κ θα το πω στην ομάδα μου.

Wondering if you could make a mod for another mod?
https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=303221014
A big problem with this game is that the Ai offten doesn't want to become part of a confederacy. I was wondering if you could make a mod that makes it so all Ai factions of the same blood can't refuse to join a confederacy if the other faction is 2 imperiums higher or is frendly and is 1 imperium higher. I really don't know or care what the best way to make a mod that makes a confederacies more likely to be made is, however you might know a way so I thought I'd offer you the challenge, since you've done such good work in the past. :)

yes it should work.
metafa 10 Aug, 2014 @ 8:35am
does this still/again work with patch 14?
Coastalaxe 23 Jul, 2014 @ 1:20pm
@Shogun Shinobi: The bonus does degrade after a while.
Grafx Rogue 15 Jul, 2014 @ 3:50pm
can you make it so the bonus degrade after the inital vassalazation? cause otherwise vassals will never revolt and thats not so much fun. also make it so seleucids dont get this bonus in the beginning because otherwise their empire never breaks apart in the beginning like its suppose to.
Jonathan 28 Jun, 2014 @ 6:00pm
I can make anyone that likes me my client state. Lawls.
Kevin Sorbo 25 May, 2014 @ 3:01pm

baptistus54  [author] 23 May, 2014 @ 8:19pm

I will try tomorrow something new. May be it will fix the problem, maybe not. lol
Kevin Sorbo 23 May, 2014 @ 7:57pm
nope this mod does the same thing as the other. That suck's i really liked this mod.
baptistus54  [author] 31 Mar, 2014 @ 10:17am
Yes it should be compatible
GEN3RAL02 31 Mar, 2014 @ 6:39am
is this mod compatable with Dresdens sack liberate loot mod?
Damnatio Memoriae 29 Mar, 2014 @ 1:08pm
works fine with patch 11. Thank you !
Coastalaxe 28 Mar, 2014 @ 4:35pm
Ok, that might explain it. I have only used it on an existing save game, with the treaties already established for a while... thanks for clearing it up!
baptistus54  [author] 28 Mar, 2014 @ 3:42pm
If it is at the start, it is normal. The treaties are not made at the first turn , but before the first turn (sometimes 4 or 5 years before the begining of the game) . So the bonus are already reduce (there is a falloff for every bonus in the game)
Coastalaxe 28 Mar, 2014 @ 3:38pm
Well, does it work differently for you? If you start a game with client states and without this mod, and then compare with this mod, do you get a straight +100 bonus?
baptistus54  [author] 28 Mar, 2014 @ 3:34pm
I don't know lol sorry.
Coastalaxe 28 Mar, 2014 @ 3:31pm
So as far as I can tell, this mod doesn't actually give a +100 relation bonus. When I have this mod active, by client state relationship only increases by around 60 points. Same with you other mod. They don't seem to be giving the full bonus, only a portion. The other mod still gives more than this one, however...

Do you know why this might be?
GEN3RAL02 27 Mar, 2014 @ 3:48pm
please update to the latest CA patch..launcher says this mod is out of date
Coastalaxe 20 Mar, 2014 @ 5:07pm
Patch 10 is now live! Was this compatible with the beta?
Jason 15 Mar, 2014 @ 6:54am
I think it will be better if you have it ativate after like 10 turns after you made them your client states/satrapys
Aeronox64 14 Mar, 2014 @ 7:30pm
will this not be a dramatic boos for the seleucids at the beginning of the campaign?
baptistus54  [author] 12 Mar, 2014 @ 5:22pm
yes
Respawn_of_Pawn 12 Mar, 2014 @ 5:06pm
does this effect satrapies and or client states at the begining of a new campaign
spacefishmanben 12 Mar, 2014 @ 3:43pm
hhmmm you may be right djlee02 thuogh why dose libia always leave me when im playing carthage? even if i give them money to stay and kill there enimes they will leave....
and please dont say hystorical correctness i dont think CA cared that much about that just look at the seibe and there nice shiney swords
Solaris419 12 Mar, 2014 @ 1:21pm
thank you! oh this will make the game much more entertaining.
baptistus54  [author] 12 Mar, 2014 @ 1:18pm
it affects every client/satrapies, even the one you have at the begining of the campaign
Solaris419 12 Mar, 2014 @ 6:29am
does this mod affect client states and satrapies some forces start with? or is it only for those you acquire while playing?
Bone Zone Jones 11 Mar, 2014 @ 11:07pm
@spacefishmanben I think its for states that you waged war with and captured ( They will hate for tens of years) or the ones you bought ( Spending money to pupet a country and they dont like you? Annoying)...
spacefishmanben 11 Mar, 2014 @ 8:17am
why do client states atomaticly hate you anyways? you didnt conor or inslave them you probibly did the nicest thing a perosn in your postion could do
GEN3RAL02 9 Mar, 2014 @ 9:02am
Great mod..such a good idea..thankyou v much!!! helps me coz im struggling on legendry difficulty and everyone declared war on my faction-even past friends and client states

leuchebreu 8 Mar, 2014 @ 11:12pm
Bapitisus,

I did plenty of testing and it did indeed work just fine...so hurray for you my friend ! I can now follow Sun tzu's maxim : "Don't completly destroy your enemies, for they can become you allies.." somwthing like that !!!
baptistus54  [author] 8 Mar, 2014 @ 7:02pm
leuchebreu
so I think It should be compatible because it seems DeI doesn't change the bonus/malus file.
at this time none of the major mods change this data in particular. There are not a lot of mod which change the bonus/malus in diplomacy (I don't know a mod which do it but I never try to really search a mod like that).
So IMHO it will be compatible with a lot of mods since none of them begin to change the bonus/malus
leuchebreu 8 Mar, 2014 @ 3:37pm
Sir, DeI stand for Divide Et Impera. thank you for the reply !
Coastalaxe 8 Mar, 2014 @ 3:08pm
@Baptistus

That was a very clear explanation. Thank you! :)
baptistus54  [author] 8 Mar, 2014 @ 2:30pm
leuchebreu
sorry what is Del ? I am sure I know this mod but I can remeber the name under the letter Del lol

IDGAF
yes it is compatible with a saved game because it only change how the malus/bonus are calculated, so every time you launch a save game the game calculate the malus bonus. So if you delete the mod and launch a saved game which are saved with the mod, you will have the bonus/malus recalculated with the bonus/malus of the original game.
I hope you understand me, because english is not my native language lol
👑 Count Shagula 🌿 8 Mar, 2014 @ 2:14pm
Nice mod, IMO its actually very realistic and something like this should have been in the vanila. Because if you conquered a country the people you would put in the client states government would be your friends/allies so you have control over the country.
Coastalaxe 8 Mar, 2014 @ 1:42pm
Hey, is this save game compatible? Can I just use this on existing saves? Or do I have to start a new game? And can I keep playing a save that used this mod before?
