Higher spread and scatter = bullets spread apart more.

However, there is a stat called spread decay, this is how quickly shots return to center, higher amount means you recover from recoil more quickly. In my scripts it's related to weight and firepower. Download that TUMTARA map and you can test all your mods in a convenient place. Go vanilla, shoot at a wall, take a screenshot, then sub to the mod, restart L4D, and shoot and screen the same place. That gives you a rough idea, however I edit almost all the stats so really just play the game singleplayer or online by hosting your own server and you can see how it feels in game.

alright then, if you dont mind answering, would a higher value mean more or less for things like spread

Well, there's the recoil stats, which should be pretty self explanatory, but they are labeled spread. Then there are the shotgun's stats. Since shotguns fire pellets, they too have a spread. The game handles these as scatter, which has a pitch (up and down) and yaw (left and right). Hope that helps!

i can't fully understand the stats as someone not fully knowledgeable about the games scripts, but im on my journey to make a collection that makes the game unique and fulfill a "advanced infection" idea, and i wanted to make the shotguns all unique, but in simple terms, i want to know if these stats would make the shotgun more accurate
