@Zakovicz(s) Probably it may not fire actual pellets from the shell it self like shotguns do and instead fires the whole shell and explodes on impact but instead of explosion its filled with shotgun pellets, this is cuz launchers don't have the impact mechanism like most weapons have that fire bullets, or i think is it like that?

Now i wonder what did the person smoked while developed 40mm shotgun shell to an M79/ Granade launcher. Kinda breaks the purpose of an shotgun. Or it was meant to be used in crow control with rubber bullets? Regardless the person who did this sure is crazy"like using Glass shell to an shotgun"
