Yeah, having to fight with forgotten content is the main reason I quit packing crap into the map unless absolutely needed (i.e. soundscapes). Plus removing any erroneous files messes up the checksum, corrupting the entire map so you have to pack them all over

It's a lot more convenient when I inevitably forgot entire directories to just slap them into the add-on folder and send it back through Corwbar.

I never knew that. That saves a lot of time and annoying shit from happening with pakCrap. Gonna try that next time

Could pack the content loose into the add-on instead of embedded into the BSP. GMod automatically downloads maps via Workshop, so it would always send the whole GMA to the client, regardless of embedded or not.
