when I use these they keep getting destroyed for some reason. I use the SG20 model for a crane, I came back to my base finding the crane not there twice after rebuilding the piston just blew up for no apparent reason. Idk if it's linked to the mod, but the vanilla pistons don't seem to do that here

Any reason why these don't allow you to build pointing downwards? Trying to build a mining rig, and to place a piston off the top of a drill, but it refuses.

Umm thats the point. If need say 145 you either use 1 piston. Or you use dozen or more normal ones. The more you use the more klangy it gets. This is intended to lower how many you use. As for just longer.. there IS one that uses magic to work. I forget name but it is part of a group of mods from same guy "Again forget name sorry". But you place base and the top part "hovers" and goes really far. But has no middle section so looks bad in many uses.

What's the point of this? You still have to build multiple pistons for a certain length (for example, to build a drilling rig)... this mod just decrease the number of pistons needed but in creative mode, this doesn't matter. I just couldn't find a mod where the piston goes for longer length...

Really odd extension lengths, given that the piston has 3 sections. None of those lengths are evenly divisible by 3. But love the mod.

Hi, thanks for all your mods! I have a question concerning length though: is there a reason none of them are even block lengths? ie, the 1x1x1 piston, in fact, isn't. It's 1x1x1.03 (extends to .47m before it touches the nearest even block face)

These are the best pistons ive found. Saw some but they use magic "no working parts". These look like real pistons. And except for the piston head says airduct... They been great lol Just dont put them right next to each other. Give a block or two spacing.

I got these to work.Just need to make sure they have space around them. Also noticed that when i use the consol on the piston head it says its a airduct? lol

Great mod, however I do wish it were possible to "attach" to a pre-existing piston top-part as you can with the vanilla pistons. Would it be possible to add this functionality?

Built a suspension system for my wheels but the second i place a wheel on it. It locks and refuses to extend or retract.

Any plan to make Large to Small grid version?
Rotor is able to do this (add small rotor head to large rotor).
That way i can design cab directly from small blocks without need to use subgrid in from of small head on big rotor.
Vanilla is like:
LargePiston------PistonHead+Rotor-----SmallRotorHead+Cab (2 subgrids)
With idea of Mod
LargePiston-----Small3x3PistonHead+Cab (only one subgrid)

Excellent work on this. I though maybe the collision box was an issue but it doesn't seem to cause any klang. I recommend this mod to anyone!!

tbh it might not look good to have conveyors sticking out of the side without a remodel to show the piston housing having some kind of hatch for materials to pass through, but you'd only see that if one segment was fully extended

@.... It is 3 days since I released it so I guess it works. :D

@FinalCPU Never though about side conveyors! However I think I will keep it as "vanilla" like as possible. However, where would one place that conveyor, one on every side? Two sides? High, low? Only on the long ones? On all? :D

@Loli E-Girl ... nope... thats caused by Keens Physics calculations for grid interactions......not the block itself... Keen code in game....
