Compatible with AGOT?
Didi Mocó 20 May @ 6:05am
@pengoyo no problem lol
pengoyo  [author] 19 May @ 9:52pm
@Didi Mocó Thanks for letting me know; it is now fixed
Didi Mocó 18 May @ 8:28pm
Sup, so, i think this mod has some unlocalized stuff/glitches in the courtiers tab (theres an unlocalized trigger for the "killing is criminal" doctrine for an example), i am not certain it is this mod but theres a big chance it is.
Darkwing Phoenix 10 May @ 8:49pm
Alright, might just use Adoption Options for my character's lesbian harem (Basically why I have this mod)
pengoyo  [author] 7 May @ 10:43am
@Darkwing Phoenix Because of how Paradox coded tenets, any mod that changes tenets will clash (this includes adding, removing, or modifying any tenet). This mod modifies a couple of tenets (note, none of my other mods do)
Darkwing Phoenix 5 May @ 10:12am
Does this mod work with the Tenets to Doctrines mod? Doubt they'd clash, but I'd like to use all of your doctrine mods with Tenets to Doctrines
pengoyo  [author] 16 Apr @ 3:58pm
@HaziTru Yes, the AI can use all these features (assuming they meet the requirements, main one being there being a faith that has the new doctrines)
HaziTru 16 Apr @ 2:06pm
Does the AI use these features ?
pengoyo  [author] 8 Apr @ 11:27am
@Zeix I don't have the time currently to take something like that on. But if someone else wants to create a compatch, they have my blessing
Zeix 8 Apr @ 3:55am
Is there any possiblity a compatch could be made between this mod and AGOT?
GenuinelyEric 25 Mar @ 10:47pm
We liberals now
Darkwing Phoenix 2 Feb @ 5:00pm
I'mma try this with the following mods:

- Adoption Options
- More Doctrines
- All Tenets Unlocked (Hopefully won't mess with anything)
- Fornication/Adultery Split
- More Consanguinity Doctrine Choices
- Tenets to Doctrines

Will report back, I'mma make a sun worshiping Christian sect in Jerusalem

If any of these work, I'll request they get added to the Compatibility section. If not, I'll request an update to have them work
pengoyo  [author] 19 Dec, 2024 @ 2:34pm
@TheSkulls I'm not able to reproduce that. Are you able to give more details or a save?
pengoyo  [author] 19 Dec, 2024 @ 1:32pm
@ilikeswordz Maybe, I'd have to look into how much extra work it would be first
TheSkulls 18 Dec, 2024 @ 11:59pm
Hello and thank you for this mod that I've been using since the beginning.
However, I have always had a problem with same-sex marriage.
Although the rules of marriage are permitted, celebrated, or virtuous and adoption is always permitted, when I ask for marriage, I take a -500 for the opinion that the marriage will have no descendants, even if he is not the first heir.
ilikeswordz 30 Oct, 2024 @ 2:55pm
Is it possible to incorporate a split between adultery and fornication? There is a mod that does it, but if you can do something similar with the additional criminal/celebratory levels, it would be really help with immersion!
Reim 20 Oct, 2024 @ 1:48pm
seems like a really cool mod thank you for sharing :tabbycat:
_blackout 7 Oct, 2024 @ 2:22am
@pengoyo Thanks for the advice! I really want to take the plunge soon, learn as much as possible, and make a few cool things that I could use.
pengoyo  [author] 4 Oct, 2024 @ 9:56am
@_blackout Thanks. As for getting into modding, there is the modding section of the CK3 wiki as a resource (plus just looking through the game files to see how the devs did it or checking out the .info files, though their explanations are not always up to date). There is both CK3 Mod Co-op discord channel and the User Mod section of the CK3 forum for asking questions and getting help with modding. Note that in the documents equivalent section of your computer the "...\Crusader Kings III\logs\error.log" file is a great help for tracking down bugs; especially if you give any new files, effects, triggers, etc a unique searchable tag (if you check out this mod's files you can see I put cc_ on anything that isn't overwriting a vanilla file or feature). As for where to start, that really depends on what you want to mod. But best of luck!
_blackout 4 Oct, 2024 @ 2:50am
Good mod, and thanks for the update.

You got any advice for someone who wants to get into modding, but only knows literally a thing or two about coding? Maybe a good place to start or a good resource to use? Thanks
pengoyo  [author] 4 Oct, 2024 @ 12:53am
The mod is updated for 1.13. There are still some scheme related mechanics that need to be reworked. But the mod is playable while I implement those
pengoyo  [author] 24 Sep, 2024 @ 8:17pm
@Sigil This is a huge update and it is the first day I have access to the new code. Sorry, but there is no way I can update this mod by now. But don't worry, I will update the mod
Sigil 24 Sep, 2024 @ 5:11pm
UPDATE MOD
pengoyo  [author] 9 Mar, 2024 @ 1:06pm
@caraliang123 Yep, just working on updating funerary cannibalism for the new funeral doctrines and activities
caraliang123 9 Mar, 2024 @ 4:06am
Is there any update planned for this mod?
pengoyo  [author] 24 Jan, 2024 @ 12:05am
@ISRAFIL I can't make make my mod compatible with that mod on my end as my mod need to overwrite the cadet branch decision so it works properly with same-sex marriage system added by this mod. If the other mod didn't overwrite that decision, but instead made a new decision for creating a new dynasty then the mods would be compatible (though that does require them to play around with localisation files to properly name the new decision).
ISRAFIL 23 Jan, 2024 @ 10:42pm
Of course, I know that it’s not significant, but in some moments it can speed up the game a little because this is the only mod that allows you to create a completely new dynasty.
ISRAFIL 23 Jan, 2024 @ 10:40pm
pengoyo By the way, there is another mod that also conflicts with your mod.
pengoyo  [author] 23 Jan, 2024 @ 9:37pm
@ISRAFIL That is bound to happen as this mod does change some files that do not work well for mod compatibility (I really wish Paradox would divide up tenets like they do doctrines).

Though I finally got around to looking at the one you linked and it looks like the problem is on the other mods end. They are overwriting all the doctrines, including the crime doctrines this mod needs, despite the fact it looks like they are not making any changes to them. If they removed the code for doctrines they don't functionally change from their md_doctrines.txt file their mod would have improved compatibility with other mods.
ISRAFIL 22 Jan, 2024 @ 5:56am
pengoyo By the way, there is another mod that does not work well with yours
ISRAFIL 3 Jan, 2024 @ 6:55am
pengoyo https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2863881219 can you make a sub mod so that your mod can be combined with this mod?
pengoyo  [author] 6 Dec, 2023 @ 3:59pm
@RainbowCrow23 The mod does not change how "crime" traits are handed out (outside of gay marriage, as the base game weirdly doesn't do anything for it if others think it's a crime). So same as vanilla CK3, crime traits/secrets are only given to characters who have committed a crime according to their faith or their liege's faith. With the only exceptions being the deviant and witch traits, both of which the traits have a game function beyond other's opinions.
RainbowCrow23 6 Dec, 2023 @ 10:38am
whenever I have adultery celebrated , characters are incapable of getting the adulterer trait, is this my fault? or is this intentional
Gob Reen 31 Oct, 2023 @ 11:06pm
oh that sacred prostitutes and eating your dead family decisions are so good
pengoyo  [author] 4 Sep, 2023 @ 3:07pm
Updated for 1.10
Added a decision for ritual cannibals to eat their recently deceased ancestors (pretty reliable way to get the cannibal trait if you have the tenet). Changed how same-sex concubines are determined so it is not always tied to same-sex marriage. Plus a lot of bug fixes
blazeknave 15 Jul, 2023 @ 5:29pm
@pengoyo this one has just become base game for me - thank you!
pengoyo  [author] 19 May, 2023 @ 8:22pm
Updated for 1.9: gladiatorial games have been removed as ToTo added tournaments (though might in the future do a to the death version of them). Murder Celebrated now unlocks murder feasts and bloody weddings instead. Same-sex couples now can enter into primolineal and ultimolineal marriages for determining who is the dominant partner
pengoyo  [author] 13 May, 2023 @ 3:57pm
Updated the rest of my mods for 1.9. But this one will take a bit longer as it is both the largest and many of it's systems have been changed by the new update
spunkyp 18 Mar, 2023 @ 8:37am
@pengoyo Thanks
pengoyo  [author] 16 Mar, 2023 @ 5:18pm
@spunkyp That modifier is copied from the vanilla file, as I added some additional modifiers if homosexuality is celebrated. But I didn't notice the modifier uses a marriage trigger instead of a concubine one (since vanilla CK3 doesn't distinguish it doesn't cause them any problems). So I fixed it by changing it to check if same-sex concubines are allowed. Thanks
spunkyp 16 Mar, 2023 @ 12:28pm
@pengoyo BTW for a temporary fix, I commented out # the modifier in your mod and I'm now able to offer a same-sex concubine.
spunkyp 16 Mar, 2023 @ 11:05am
@pengoyo - some more info, I'm using a mod of a mod Celtic Paganism.

https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2388196951

I changes the code in the mod to allow for concubines as shown here:
#Marriage
doctrine = doctrine_concubines
#Crimes
doctrine = doctrine_homosexuality_accepted
It works.

I also made a mod to EPE culture file: 00_goidelic.txt to have the tradition of concubines instead of polygamy in Ireland.

That works too.

I found in your file :cc_marriage_interactions.txt

the code lines :

modifier = { # A Recipient is unwilling to take a same-sex concubine if their faith doesn't support it
add = -1000

scope:recipient = {
allowed_to_marry_same_sex_trigger = no
sex_same_as = scope:secondary_actor
}
desc = SAME_SEX_MARRIAGE_FAITH_REASON_RECIPIENT
}

not sure if any of this helps, but just more info.

Thanks.
pengoyo  [author] 15 Mar, 2023 @ 11:25pm
@spunkyp Probably a vanilla check that doesn't use Paradox's own parameter system. If it is what I think it is it should be easy to fix. Thanks for all the details
spunkyp 15 Mar, 2023 @ 12:55pm
I'm having a problem of offering a same sex concubine to another ruler ( my son and heir to the thrown) with the same religion as my player that celebrates same sex relationships. The reason for refusal of the concubine is (-1000) faith does not accept same sex relationships. I don't know why when it is shown as celebrated for the faith.

For the game rules I selected are Same-sex relations - Player Celebrated (same sex relation are celebrated by Player's starting Faith) Same-sex Marriage - Only Concubines ((same-sex concubines are available to those whose faith celebrates same sex relationships and can take concubines.)

I read this is that I should be able to offer a same sex concubine. Unless because I selected Player Celebrated? but the description indicates that it would apply to the players faith in general.
pengoyo  [author] 23 Jan, 2023 @ 6:56am
@爱咬手指的加兰德 Thanks, hopefully the newest version solves the bug. I'll look into repricing the gladiatorial games.

Also there is now a new doctrine for Jainism that forbids all types of killing.
白水此方 22 Jan, 2023 @ 6:21am
There is a bug that murderers will still be taboo, although the religious reform stipulates that this is "Allowed" or "Celebrated".

In addition, I suggest that we can reduce the cost of the competition and increase the income it brings. It is now too low in cost performance
pengoyo  [author] 5 Jan, 2023 @ 7:24pm
@junkyard emperor I haven't tried it, but it looks like it should be compatible outside of some the minor changes to the tenets being overwritten by that mod
junkyard emperor 5 Jan, 2023 @ 4:41pm
Is this mod compatible with More Bookmarks+?
