I reccomend this one, CTP has some crashs in areas such as the fog.

You can copy items folder from this mod into your 512 world only, that should do it.

Not sure about specifics, I didn't compare them closely, but people say this one is faster.

File size is a bit smaller here, so it's faster. In theory. Try it out, they'll just overwrite each other, depending on the load order, since both replace pretty much the same files.

I remember that compression was causing some textures to appear black. So I skipped the compression.

Did you compress to DXT5 when you downsized? Just asking for a similar project im working on.
