Sorry if this has been asked but I don't quite understand how the conveyor system works with the Belly Round Cockpit 3x3x2. Infobuild says there are two conveyor ports on the rotor and the cockpit hinge.
However whether I put a large port or a small one I can't pass resources from one side to the other, so no ammo in the cockpit.

However it is clearly designed to be a turret.

Did I miss something?

While sitting in the "bike" cockpits, I take damage. Is this an O2 thing? it's open air. This happens in an earth-like planet with both my helmet on and off.

Is this mod compatible with servers? I tried loading it up on a Nitrado server and even tried disabling progression but the blocks still won't show up in the menu.

Hi @Spacebar, the Sci-Fi Ships Wheel cockpit seems to have a O2 issue in pressurized environments. When you grab the wheel, even when the room around it has O2, the wheel negates that and has no O2. I suspect there is a config issue with the O2 settings since we also have the boat parts mod and the helm from that mod works fine. Is this something that can be fixed? Thanks!

Thanks but that includes all of my mods, I don't allow any reuploads period which includes the repulsor mod you just reuploaded without even asking.

Hi! Love your mod, one of my essentials.
The small grid Rover Control seat is a bit problematic because it is completely air-tight and has no conveyor ports. In other words it's a death trap. Would be great if it could be fixed.

If this could get an update to fix some of the LCDs displaying oddly it would be appreciated... I took a look at if it could be fixed just with editing the config files, and unfortunately changing the aspect ratio there just resulted in it being zoomed in and cutting off the edges, which isn't too useful. :(

Great Mod, thanks for making it. On the small grid Enclosed Operators Cockpit, the Back Right Screen never retains the settings. It always defaults back to Gravity and the default colors. I am not sure if it's a bug or not, but I thought I would let you know.

Please remove the spiders from your cockpits! The Exploration Rover Double Seat Right has a particularly bad one - it's siting directly in the centre of the driver's sight line!

I also found myself being injured when I used the motorcycle seat cockpit, I switched it out for a same sized one from another modder and it worked ok so it is almost certainly the cycle seat that is the problem. It looks really cool though. Cheers mate.

is there a tutorial on how to set up a turret with the ball turret bits? it just bounces all over and i fear clang is going to get angry before i can even get it to turn. that said... would it be posable to make the side ports on the half ball cockpits for turrets to have roters built in for smoother aiming?

Addendum: Seems to be an issue with my helmet being open and suddenly no oxygen but I'm on planet. Helmet closed things are fine.

Hi Spacebar,

I've done some internet searching and a good amount of testing.
It looks like it's specifically the Exploration Rover Cockpits that are having the issue.

The "Heavy" armored style cockpits and the 3x3 Rover Cockpit also works fine with the build menu.

I'll suppose I switch my BP's to include the 3x3 for now.

1000 Apologies, It was late, and i'm an idiot for saying that.

I'm still having an issue to where when I try to place a block with one of your cockpits, it's acting like voxels or other grids don't exist. I can place blocks but they won't snap to anything.

The problem goes away if I use a vanilla cockpit, but comes back when I use your cockpit.
It is not conflicting with another mod, I've tried this in a vanilla world with this mod standalone.

For the ball turrets it would be nice if you could access it from the inside of your ship while having it remain airtight

sci fi ships wheel character placement is broken it shows the player in a normal chair on its side halfway through a block

Look good, doesn't work quite well. When sitting in any one of them, the player aren't seated in the seat, but rather clipping through.

Removing backpacks in the cockpit makes sense to me. You probably just shouldn't use a material designed for the backpack on something that isn't the backpack. Or just accept this incompatibility and move on

Keen gave you a fix, use it. Sorry I'm being abrasive lol but especially if it's just a line of .sbc, an edge case that only applies to your cockpits should be fixed by your cockpits instead of worked around n times by people who can't really be expected to know better...
Removing backpacks doesn't really fall under the umbrella of "cockpits" anyway, if people don't want backpacks they get a character mod that gets rid of them, not a cockpit mod

I spoke with Chipstix, who knows the most about character modding. Keen used to hide the backpack inside the body, I was not aware that had changed. However this still is not a compatibility issue with my mod because keen now hides the backpack material. You need to use a different material

That's just how it was explained to me. All cockpits hide the backpack unless you use a tag specifically to show it. <BackpackEnabled>true</BackpackEnabled> is how you show it. This is not a compatibility issue on my end, this is how cockpits work from Keen's side.
