one of the buildings is missing, to be fair it was the most forgettable building in equilibre and you spent a whole lot of time on the map as is, but still.

@Stripes Know what maps/addons specifically? I've been trying to fix the same issue here with the doorway effects

I found out what is causing it, it was some other map/addon because it was happening in hl2 levels.

Glowing rocks and rubble piles, and the fade out/fade in effect for doorways is super bright white

I'm mostly just happy to know someone remembers and cares about that map other than me haha. If you send me the VMF I can have a friend do it instead

@finger i could. probably. the main issue is that i would have to recolor every single light and sprite in the map and its kind of a chore lol

Sorry if this is a big ask: is there any chance you could make a version with the original skybox and lighting from zs_equilibre? I love what you've done with this map -- it's an objective improvement -- but I feel like it's lost that impeccable, desolate vibe from the original.

Thanks for making something like this. It really made my day. It reminds me a ton of when back in 2014ish (on a different steam account of course) I would just go around and explore maps with great atmospheres like that for hours at a time. :steamthumbsup:

the custom graffitis in the map give clues towards what to do, reminder that it only works in zs tho so if you're trying to activate it in sandbox you wont physically be able to do it lol

bruh how do u find the secret? the only thing i know remotely related to finding the secret is when i nuke the map and the text comes up on your screen... AM I TOO SMALL BRAIN?

@Anus Georg thanks! uhhh, idunno honestly. there are some maps i have that are set in a specific timeline/world. them being obj_void obj_blackout, zs_obj_horizons/event_horizon, zs_closure and other 3 unreleased maps but the rest i make just kinda take place somewhere nonspecific on earth lol.
Basically if the word "Echofour" isnt mentioned somewhere its probably not connected to the main saga of maps i have

@Brom? Thanks! I put a lot of effort into the ambience, specially the soundscapes. I also tried as much to preserve the destroyed look of the original while also making it viable and making each building different in their own right

I just downloaded CS:S and let me say: this is definitely one of the coolest maps I've ever played. The buildings aren't boring, they all have cool little details. The ambient sounds, ngl, scared the shiz out of me. That crow that flies around, jeez, I almost had a heart attack! I dont think I've ever played a map with npcs in it! 10/10 :steamthis:

@WarriorClem theres no rain because the entity itself is removed in the zs gamemode for performance reasons so its not worth adding. plus its kinda buggy and not that visually appealing. i may or may not consider adding a rain particle effect that someone else made for zs but we'll see.
