OMG I was looking through your old mods to subscribe to some more and I didn't realize you did this one! Great work, this has been one of my favorites for the entirety of Warhammer 2's life.

You are one of the best modders out there, even taking suggestions from the community like when I reccomended you add your jungle beasts to the Amazons of OvN. Excellent quality of feedback and mods. <3

Ohh I see that makes sense. And about the Dark Ones, could just be that my eyes are shot, but it doesnt "pop" as much as the other ones did after installing that mod, but thank you, you helped me with 90% of the problem!

Yeah, the Greater Feral Dread Saurian Is not covered by that mod.
The reworked card for the Dark Ones should work in theory, no idea why Is not working for you.

There Is a unit card mod for the More Ferals for Kremlo version that technically should work for this version too but nothing else.

Yes, I'm talking about that. As far as I'm aware SFO adds the Silence and Fury units to the portals, I noticed the normal troglodon wasn't there either in vanilla.

I never played with Nakai before so I'm not accustomed with this portal thing.
But from what I'm reading I guess that you are probably talking about the global recruitment duration bonuses of said buildings.
It should be doable but the thing Is that I have no clue about which table Is responsible for adding the units to that specific effect.
If you know about any other mod that adds custom units to Nakai's portal effect or mods that adds any custom units to any other building's global recruitment effect please do tell.
That would help greatly.

You need to add these units to the portal buildings in Nakai's hordes, so they don't take way longer to recruit.

For the feral troglodon, you could replace the actual data with dummy entries. For instance, you could replace the main_unit reference in buildings_units_allowed with wh2_main_lzd_mon_bastilidon_0 for level 1, 2, and 3 which wouldn't change anything for that unit (since it's already available at those levels) and would leave the trog only available at the 4th level. This way your indices would still be there, but refer to the dummy data.

I Didn't know at all that game could even load unit's cards larger than 60x130 (aside from infopics).

Another discovery I found is if you use 120 X 260 for the icons instead of 60 X 130, the images look more detailed if your original files are equal or larger than 120 X 260.

Regarding salamanders and razordons if they do have melee animations It should be possible (at least in theory) to force them to not use ranged attacks and go full melee.

just a couple of unit suggestions. Could you possibly make feral ripperdactyls and a komodo dragon-like unit (a melee version of salamanders and razordons)?

I always thought it was a shame Games Workshop never gave the lizardmen a komodo dragon-like creature.

@JurassicZombieFromOuterSpace The only other option I can think of would be retexturing, but I simply lack the skills and the programs required to do that.
Leaving them riderless like Terradons Is not even an option since they would pretty much look like these Horned Ones https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1217253325 which are just riderless and thus nothing I would comfortably label as "feral".

@JurassicZombieFromOuterSpace Agreed, those Cold Ones are much cooler!
The thing Is that unfortunately, unlike Terradons, they DO have saddles and there Is no way to get rid of them in the variantmesh files.
Maybe there Is a way (but I'm not entirely sure if this works with saddles too) following the work of this particular mod https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1862690157 who managed to get rid of the Feral Dread Saurian accessories.
Sadly, since I currently don't have access to the The Hunter and the Beast DLC, I can't see the differences between the Normal Dread Saurian and the modded one.
But even so Is not granted that I would manage to replicate the results nor that all of this actually do affects saddles at all.

Just a little suggestion. I always wanted to see the cold ones dinos from the dark elves in the Lizardmen roster. They look so much cooler.

Do you think you could add a feral version of the Dark Elves cold ones?

Since I don't see any numbers attached to this attribute I think that It should be removed with the next update.
It sucks to lose an attribute but It sucks more to have a dull white square!

Its indeed the mighty knockback attribute that doesn't have a visual representation. There are more instances though for some that have been used in Warhammer 1 but have been renamed in WH2.

@Inardesco I just gave a look and I didn't find any white square but since It already happened to me when I was testing the mod, I can tell you that It's just an harmless visual bug.
It could be connected to some rarely used attributes like Mighty Knockback and such.
Honestly, I don't know why CA didn't give them a proper Icon.

Thats fair. I have seen some issues on the unit cards though. One of the attributes that you've given to the Greater Ferals have a white square on the unit card. I haven't recruited any of those units yet so I can't say which attribute it is.

@Inardesco I guess that somewhere there Is a specific table that randomly assigns a selected number of units to the Primeval Glory rite.
Following that logic my units should not be part of said rite because I did not manually assign them to It.
I guess that I could try to include them in the next update, IF I do find more informations on rite tables and how they behave.

After working on the SFO edition and see their attributes and abilities I would like to update this too and expand the range of units that can use Frenzy and Strider.
They are minor changes so they should be welcomed without any particular disagreements.
Switching rampage to primal instincts (a stronger version of rampage) It's another story.
Since I'm really unsure about this change I would like to hear your opinion about it!

@JurassicZombieFromOuterSpace I did take Terradons in consideration too but there Is a problem: they are units that are supposed to have a rider.
Now, since they do not have saddles, they would not look as bad as Horned Ones without a rider that's for sure.
While I do think that getting rid of their riders will be rather easy, their gold collars are another story.
Well...let's just say that "Ferals" with gold collars don't seem very Feral to me :cozybrawlhalla1:
Anyhow, since Terradons are pretty much the only ones left to cover aside from Feral Dread Saurian (which sadly I can't cover for now since I don't have The Hunter and the Beast DLC yet), I might just give them a try and see If the results are acceptable!
