I’m actually amazed to hear some of you guys have this working. I had stopped work on it because there were too many things to fix.

I got too ambitious and far from the original intent of the mod. But that’s mission creep, you try to rearrange the tech tree a little and you end up building an entire overhaul mod!

The computer with the original files is long gone. Though the actual ssd might be around somewhere.

If I ever have time I’d like to rebuild it from the ground up, using the same assets but in a more stable simplified way. If anyone is familiar with XML editing and ever wants to help please let me know. For now I’m thinking about asking an AI for help with rewriting the code of this mod. we’ll see!

Mine is working except for loyalty. It seems like I'm getting no positive loyalty pressure from my citizens. Policy cards, that add +2 loyalty to cites not on my continent aren't working. I keep getting hit with -12, or more, -loyalty from "other effects." I don't have a religion, and most of the cites are close to other civilizations with the same religion. A lot of my cities with this issue, aren't even near other civilizations. Any thoughts on a fix? Are there any mods that offer buildings I can build for loyalty? I see one that lets me build some if it's my civilization but what about ones that I conquer? So far, I've been only conquering Free States.

The lite version worked perfectly until turn 135. Now the mod crashes regardless. Reinstall it mod and even game and still consistently crashes. I don't know how I made it worked for the first time at all.
Ashame, probably the best mod for civ 6.
Not sure if there's a substitute.

This has been by far my #1 Civ 6 mod for the past couple years now. I struggle to play normal games without it now. Regardless of whether or not mod author returns to update I am grateful for all the extra hours this mod has helped me squeeze out of this game.

Hu andersen, unfortunately I have not had time to update this mod. For the time being it is not working. If i have time to simplify and fix it before the next Civ is released I will.

Very fun mod, however I've noticed crashing when ever I try to start a trade route. Did not happen in the early game, not sure if it's from the trader management mod I have installed but next play through I'll disable it and see if it works.

Tried getting this to work, but no luck. Even with just the core mods loaded after clearing cache, gives an unhandled exception crash.

This mod is broken with the new update. Only have this loaded with the required mods and get an error about mods not working. I've found that all Warfare Expanded mods will not work with Steel and Thunder mods required. W.E. Complete will work by itself, but not with: W.E. Medieval , W.E. Reloaded, W.E. Warplanes, & W.E. Warships.... W.E. Medieval , W.E. Reloaded, W.E. Warplanes, & W.E. Warships will work together, but not with the many other mods I have. The many other mods I have will work with the Steel and Thunder mods: S.T. Unique Units, S.T. Everything Enabled, and S.T. Unit Expansion. AB2531 Plague Mod broken as well.

Try to start Civ6 leaving any Sason Pass and New Leader content OUT and DISABLED!
I also have disabled Plague.
I do not use any of the fantasy game modes.
Do not run Disaster above 4 and Religions above 12 if you use Mods for these.
Use only the Civ6 Map sizes.
Start with only a few Citiy States.
Limit your Civs to 44 if you play with that many.

Mayne it helps.

Certain additional mods will probably crash it to - the game can not handle the increase in assets.

The only way to avert a crash at start is to use Dx11. But you still only have about 30 seconds of gameplay, because on Dx11, creating a city causes the game to freeze on an infinite loop. And then after about 10-15 minutes of a frozen game, the game crashes anyways. I tried to contact you on your Steam profile, but there is no way to message requesting an update for this mod.

I use the enormous map size - bigger will crash.
Also, if the game does not start or crash at start use Dx11 instead.
But it will crash at some point later inevitably if you do not solve the reason for the crash.

You need to disable all the mods that add new game modes then it runs without fault at least for me.
It could be that Citiy States and Barbarian Clans exceed some Civ-Limit so i have set them to 2 City States and the clans evole into City States as long the civ-Limit is not reached.
I use 44 Civs afair on a quite big map with yet another map pack.

The new leaders maybe too, i have not treid the game recently.
Tthey could work bcs they substitute old leaders but if they have some traits the mod maybe can not handle it could make issues.

I think that this mod is broken with the new Leader's pass updates. I tried running the game with it and it always crashes. Some times it crashes gracefully with a "mod failed to load content" screen. Others it gets all the way to leader screen and when you press the start button, you get a crash report send dialog after ungraceful CTD.
It is a very good mod and would really appreciate it if it became again playable.

I've used this from time to time but not all the frontier pass mods will work with this version 7
But I can never remember what frontier pass dlc's will work
I also found that the era's are a bit too long would be nice if we could adjust the number of turns

I run CQUI and the CIV 5 Einvronment Visuals Mod and have no problems.

To me the game breaks when i use any of the Civs and Stuff that came with the latest game pass, it will not work!

I can run up to 42 Civs, but sadly Civ also broke the map sizes so its somewhat cramped than and City States have to be limited to a few as you can not use the biggest Maps that come with Yet Another Map Pack, only the huge ones.

Barbarians will be able to form City States and both Dx11 and Dx12 run and all Wonders be displayed so far.

don´t know if it's a known bug or not, but playing as Suleiman, I cannot build a Grand Bazaar in commercial hub. It is a shame because it is a great building for the Ottomans...

AHave you ticked the "compatibility with more units" box when setting up? It was crashing for me until I ticked that box at setup. Also - plague mod caused a crash for me- try disabling it.

So, I played this game about a month ago with minimum bugs on light version. I decided to come back to it and it kept crashing no matter what I do. after some troubleshooting I narrowed it down to one of the unit mods or unique unit mod. Not sure if anyone else has this issue but as it is I'm not able to start a game since it crashes each time I try.

Two 'bugs" I have found is that at a particular turn, all eureka's for next era are granted. Another is a building that isn't named, so the full string appears. Anyone else had this issue? It could be a conflict with another mod of course...

Just wondering if you had a version that did not include gathering storm? Curious. I guess I will wait until it is 75 off, but wanted to avoid it.

From your description, it was music to my ears. Civ, EU4 and HOI4 never examine darksides or downsides to progress and it is quite annoying. Free Press only boosts great people who never have their own agendas about government, yea no lol.

A+ - This is the mod I have been wanting so much - THANK YOU. Simply wonderful mod. I had trouble getting the lite version to work, but this went ahead just fine. Important note - you seem to have to check the box on setup for the unit mods to work together - then it loads fine.

How far did you research? Because I was having an issue where advanced robotics wouldn't show up on the sidebar tree. And if I open up the big tree and click on any tech the game freezes.

When a city rebels and I take it back it then generates loyalty pressure but if I quit and come back they go back to not generating pressure

I'm on turn 524 with the multiplayer pack and for some reason my cities just stopped exerting loyalty pressure and half are rebelling. The ai to my left has the same problem but the one to my right is exerting loyalty pressure like normal. I tried going back a few turns to fix it but now it's affecting every turn I go back to. I'm not sure what went wrong.

Also as I get through the tech tree the game freezes for several minutes when I pick a new tech.

well, it first appears in the renaissance era, when you research the upgrade for swordsmen. Then the Melee class is just sort of vanished for the remainder of the era, honestly that's as far as I have gotten, cause the Ai have still been able to make melee units, so I get absolutely dominated by aggressive Ais

@dragon's flame, that is an intriguing issue. Do you know specifically which units you have noticed this on? I'll have a go at fixing it if it's related to this mod.
