I have been searching for this for so long.
THANK YOU!!!
There are tons of very evident bugs. There's a debug message displayed in the chat after every action, which I assume the creators forgot to remove. The cube that is displayed when you equip the tool becomes a physical object that you can interact with if you change to a different tool or just press Esc.
There's no way to remove the transitioners in-game - even if you manually delete them and then "save" them, they will still appear after reloading the map.
All in all, great idea, poor execution.
good job man
One little hiccup I've encountered, in my experience the transitions do work, however I do not spawn on the corresponding transition in the linked map. I have made sure the ID's match, and save the links every time. Any ideas on what I might be doing wrong?
not even when i put in gm-construct
I'm asking because I would start working o a singleplayer variant, and hand over my hopefully positive results, once it's done.
Also, where is the info stored about the transitioner entities? Because it has to be somewhere, or it wouldn't stay persistent whenever you exit the game, right?
However, this opens up whole new worlds of playing campaign orientated maps. You can actually connect maps in any imaginable way possible, and even create your own campaign setups, with a single savegame. That's exceptionally awesome.
And yes, making it working for singleplayer what be even more awesome. Strongly needed feature indeed, since a multiplayer game has a copple of different settings.
Not even mad, should have seen that coming lol
