Can you remove the badges under the branch family? There is a member in the family tree whose order is not correct

Oh too bad @Conan1001, it could have been nice. The dynastic system takes only one of the parents and not the other and the same when there are no children. Thank you for your response.

Sorry @TheCatWorld I wouldn’t know how to make that change. A Dynasty tree isn’t exactly the same thing as a regular family tree, and spouses are not usually members of the same dynasty.

Is there any way to have spouses appear in the dynasty tree in Crusader Kings 3? I’m using Enhanced Dynasty Tree Viewer, but my wife doesn’t show up because we have no children. I would really like her to be included as part of the family tree. Is it possible to add an "add someone" buton ?

@Extinrebok Vanilla didn’t make any recent changes to the dynasty tree gui window, so as far as I know this mod is still compatible with the latest Vanilla version.

@Mydraor I agree that it would be great to get rid of duplicates in the tree, but that is beyond my abilities to implement in a mod, sorry.

Maybe not exactly the point of this mod, but I thought you could maybe have an idea if something like this would be possible? One point I hate is when my dynasty gets bigger dynasty members always start to marry each other and so the children pop up several times in the dynasty tree which gets worse and worse until one person is like a dozen times in the dynasty tree. Do you think there would be a way to show this people only once in the tree (either always under the father or for matrilinear marriages/bastards under the mother) so the tree doesn't always get so unneccesary big because the same people are in there over and over again.

Some how with this mod enable with (Total Animation 1.11 Compatch) https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3010587762 It cause the animations now to work with that mod. I tried different load orders, still did not work.

@Coloni I agree, it would be nice to get rid of the duplicates in the tree, but I am afraid that is beyond my abilities to implement. It would take a major overhaul of the tree viewer to implement, and I am not sure if it would even be possible with the tools available to modders.

It would be good if you eliminated tree duplicates. If a man merries another women in his dynasty, that wil create duplicate. Like it was in CK2

If I'm honest UniUI was made to get people to use my name pack mod, so you can load the dynasty mod after as a temp fix before I add it. The name adjustments are just for my other mod.

As long as you started a save with the latest patch that added the variable you can easily switch load order once I get around to it.

Basically UniUI is changing how the names are generated under the portraits in the dynasty tree, so both mods are changing the ui file for the dynasty tree viewer. If UniUI ends up supporting this mod, then both the name change and the enhanced dyansty tree viewer changes would work together. If you put this mod after UniUI in the load order the name changing is disabled.

I am not sure how much work UniUI would need to do to make these compatible, or if they will support it, I will see what they say.

@RoyalRaven If you've got another mod that is also support by UniUI that changes the same files as this mod, those two mods will be compatible with eachother when using UniUI. Ideally every UI mod should be made to be compatible/supported with UniUI so that all UI mods work together.

Is there more to having you mod compatible with UniUI, other than its load order before or after compatibility added. It just seems strange to me to make something compatible just for load order, unless I am not fully understanding UniUI.

I added a global variable that UniUI can look up, and I reached out to the creator of the UniUI mod, so I will see if they would be willing to add this mod.

Or like you said could be as simple as putting your mod after UniUI, just like Community Name Packs mod. Since that does something with the names, they said put that after UniUI.

Yeah I agree, from the mod page, they say it is pretty simple to add UniUI function so it works. This way, the list of mods there can all work together.

From my understanding how UniUI works, when a mod supported by UniUI is detected, that mods UI is enabled, so if you have two mods that edit the same file, both of those mods changes are in UniUI, but only enabled if one or both of those mods are detected.
