P.S.S. You could pass the coding work to a more experienced modder in this comment section, if they're willing to help! you can do just the spriting if a modder accepts this proposal. (Unfortunately, I have no experience with RoA character mod coding... )

P.S. I could draw some concept art for my ideas for Abyss Rune effects for you once I've seen (and learned how to use, most likely from experimentation,) every move this character has, if you want!

I (and many others) would appreciate it if you at least kept this up-to-date with the latest RoA patch, and I think you could come up with some pretty powerful (and possibly stylish/flashy too!) Abyss Runes, now that there's official Abyss Rune support. There's plenty of RoA Modded Character creation tutorials on youtube, and I think you could learn a lot from them.
