Report a translation problem
The triggers you're seeiing have a function applied to them that should spawn snowfall and should be invisible to the player, but in your case it didn't do it.
I think there two solutions to this problem.
1) sometimes you simply need to restart the game, and it fixes the issue.
2) you might use some king of visual addon, so you might want to check that out.

pls help me ):
Haven't owned or played them since they came out or since playing Garry's Mod.
Perhaps try restarting the game and checking how it looks then, or maybe .gma file downloaded incorrectly, try to redownload the map, maybe it will help fixing the problem.
Thank you for reporting this bug/anomaly.
Make sure you restart Gmod, it usually fixes all problems.
Check your addons, maybe one of them changes the flashes.
However, the alternative is my theory on why the muzzle flashes may not work, it may not work because of high particle use on this map, it's also the reason why the fps drops (for some)...
I have to test something and then I'll say my discoveries, but I'd bet that all you need to do is restart Gmod.
I don't know why it's there and not in the garrysmod addons folder
If you manage to find the gma file, find gmad.exe in the garrysmod bin folder and simply drag the gma on the gmad.exe and it should extract all the files from the gma.
Than you need to download BSPSource and extract all files from the .bsp.
Than you'll need the GCFScape to extract the color correction file from the bsp, the reason why it's compiled inside the bsp is because gmupload doesn't like .raw files.
or Google drive, I hope I didn't forget anything...
I'll post it in the discussions.
Sound like a dare.
Though it seems that eventually gm_sevenhedges will take it over.
P.S. I've noticed that there is quite a few comparisons of my map and the movie / game"The Thing", which is pretty nice.
I didn't expect to reach the 229 rating / 5 stars in the first weak, very nice!
Been at the first page of top rated addons, which is very nice as well.
Lastly but most importantly, no CS:S, I know right, most people don't have it, so enjoy my maps they don't need it!

However, if I was to remove the fog, the map would lose its charm, its aesthetics, it would look a little barren.
P.S. It doesn't lag for me, so I couldn't tell.
