Hey all, with the impending 1.6 update and new DLC, I've updated this mod to the best of my ability with what time I have. This update changed a lot about how building is handled, so please let me know if you find anything missing from the rock walls that are typically found on other structures like walls. Designators will work, and are functionally identical to walls. At some point, I might change this as I feel like a filled wall option is useful for these chunks, especially when smarter construction updates. The replacement mechanic has also been implemented, so you should be able to replace any type of wall with any type of rock wall, including rock walls with other rock walls.

@Ueido You might be thinking of the Vanilla expanded medieval mod, it added Cobblestone walls and half-walls made from chunks directly- It is currently being changed into a combo mod of several factions so it's not being turned into a 1.5 mod

I'm confused. I don't remember having this mod as I can't find it in my lists. I do remember having basic stone walls but now I can't find where I had them from. Looks like this is my new source.

Anyone find a workaround for the shading that gets left when you replace mined chunks?

Rocks can be built on shallow and deep water tiles, also, they are much easier to build than brick walls, so I suggest maybe increasing the work required to build, and maybe increasing the cost to 2 chunks per wall. Great mod by the way, this should be vanilla!

I attempted to create a patch using your xml code and other mod's with patches, but it's not working. Can I show you what I've done and maybe you can tell me what I did wrong?

Hmm. Maybe I can make something work. I know that Simple Chains: Steel has a stone bloomery that uses any stone chunks (including modded chunks) so maybe I can ask them to see what they did and attempt something. Worse case scenario maybe a new mod is in order. I know little to nothing about modding, but if I take a crack at it would I be allowed to use your mod as a base for a potential patch/entirely new mod?

I've no clue when I'd finish making such a patch/mod since I'm lazy and have other things going on in my life, but it's something I might pick at from time to time. If someone beats me to the punch then please let me know.
