Also: because i spent too much time on your broken ass objective i would recommend ammo drops.
In case you are wondering:
-i got on top of the objective and it didn't do anything. Beside it? same deal. Tried to see if there was something behind the wall but there wasn't. If you are trying to be clever with this, it isn't.
-The option to bring up the torch was there but it didn't do anything.
i loved this map so seeing this happen is disappointing.
In general i recommend this map in objective mode in singleplayer as the objectives are not mandatory there.
-> You don't have to activate the ship
In multiplayer it's just a bit harder as official maps. We made it multiple times.

You have to be very close where the sparks are and kneel down. I made so you really need physical contact with the thing you weld.
It's not just at wave 2, depending on how many waves you play this might be necessary on other waves too.

I always try my maps at HoE in single and multiplayer to see check the difficulty. And yes... it is defintly one of my hardest maps. But it is not just possible, with a well coordinated team is still pretty easy on HoE.
I want my maps to be difficult ;-). I try to force teamplay in every aspect.
Infinite enemies spawning directly on the ship that you're supposed to defend for 4 minutes is too much. If they didn't spawn directly on the ship, or if having zeds on the ship didn't stop the timer from going down, it'd be fine.
Again, I like the objectives, I'm not asking you to remove them.
that's exactly why i add the objective mode.
This map is very difficult in singleplayer when the objectives are mandatory. But its important for a proper multiplayer experience.
For singleplayer i recommend play this map in objective mode. I set all objectives to optional there.
Why survival with mandatory and objective mode with optional objectives?
Well ... because there are no objective mode servers with workshop maps avaiable so none will play this map multiplayer objective. But in singleplayer it's easy to start an objective mode map.
Otherwise this seems like a really cool map, you did a great job of porting it over!
Official maps with both Survival and Objective variants had optional tasks for the former and mandatory objectives in the latter, not the other way around. Regardless, the ammo supply in Survival mode needs to be addressed.

In often try to get close to the official setting for pickups. So there are many ~25 amo pickups and ~15 weapon pickups in this map
