There aren't any other versions of this mod that I know of, no.
Im pretty sure I made the Floran sprites the way they are because the actual player sprites are visibly distinguishable as male and female (which can I say is just really dumb? I do really like the idea of them being genderless but then why slap breasts on them? It just seems really half assed).

As for the Glitch waist, yeah i don't know whats up with it either. I created this mod almost five years ago now and if i were making this mod today I'd be doing most things very differently

Dang, I've always really liked this mod but there are a few very small tweaks I'd like to make and I have precisely no idea how to do them. I know a *little* about pixel art but actual modding is a complete mystery to me.

Do you know of a version of this mod that includes a Floran sprite that is a retouched version of the original but is the same for both "sexes"? I really like the style of this mod but I also really vibe with the detail that since Floran are genderless, their tech screens are the same no matter what you choose at character creation.

Also, is it just me or does the female glitch waist look... too small? Its a teeny detail but I can't unsee it lol

If you mean it was hard, I can't imagine, since all it took was adding "includes" : ["FrackinUniverse"] to the metadata file

I tried to make a Frackin' Universe version of this one time. You can imagine how that went.
