Update pls xdd

This was the best squad mod of all time. Man, just rushing out at the start of the game with the open top .50 cals trying to catch the enemy logis was so much fun. Fun, compact gameplay that was more exciting than vanilla squad. With a simpler, easier to understand gamemode but still a huge skill ceiling to master. I was playing this mod all the time even when the servers were nearly dead. Even with 5-10 players on each team this gamemode was still so much fun. I really hope this mod comes back or even your standalone game comes out because this was really some of the most unique and fun gameplay I had in an FPS game for a long time.

Sadness that the mod got discontinued, it was such a good idea but just didn't have enough backing to survive

I have made the tough decision to discontinue development of this mod as of Squad v8.2 (Dec 4 2024).

I'll be making this concept into a standalone UE5 game, so if you're interested in that please join the discord.

is this mod still up? all content online is from 2+ years ago, has this mod gotten improvements? because it was super janky when i played it 2 years ago.

hi, i have the same problem as this other user ; i wanted to try out the helis, unforcenatly the mod doesn't have a jensen range so i loaded up a custom game but when i try to build stuff it's underground and can't be rotated or placed

I am trying to play on my own to test out the commander and buildings and stuff, and I am able to get as far as needing to rotate the building but cannot do so. It won't let me place the building using any key, nor can I rotate it to proceed. Is there something I am doing wrong?

Attempted Fixes:
- Reset controls
- Altered Leaning keys to see if q and e weren't working
- Loaded up a new match
- Pressed ALL the buttons

I'm unable to get past the loading screen.
Any discussions able to address this? I saw Moidawg playing it so I know it's possible.

Yes, it seems related to 3.2.

There seems to be an issue causing persistent server crashes, we are investigating it and will be rolling out an update to fix it as soon as possible.

If you're a server owner and have crash logs please send them to me.

Where'd the servers go?
I saw Aldo had a server up here and there but it keeps disappearing (crashing?).
Is this 3.2 related?
