This map doesn't work anymore

The map has to be updated, just letting the game think it is made for the current version doesn't help.

With the help of "Emoji Movie Fan" I was able to load at least the map, but it remains black - sadly.

I've created a file called version.txt in the folder "245068667" and the folder "Maps" containing only the version number "v1.5.58533"; nothing more.

Hopefully the dev of the map is willing to update it some day.

I can load the map by clicking "Force Load", but ingame I get only a black screen.

How to update a mod manually!

Step 1. Open to this file Documents\My Games\GoatSim\GoatGame\Mods\Downloaded

Step 2. Each mod is sorted by a diffrent set of numbers, you can find out what the code is by

A: Opening each file to see what mod is what.
B: Checking the link of the mod.
E.G: https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=245068667

This mods code is 245068667, as displayed at the the end of the link

Step 3. Find a text document called 'version'. (If theres no text document called version you can create a text document yourself)

Step 4. Delete the old version and update it with the new one. (Current update is v1.5.58533)

Step 5. Save the new update and close the files, then boot up the game.


(Warning: Doing this may not work on every mods. Doing this on a mod like Abu Goat will crash the game when trying to start up the map. To find out how to delete a mod after seeing this go to this link here:

Subscribed and force loaded to get the map, however, all I see is a black screen with my score on it, no game, can hear normal game noises in the background, but thats it.
