does this still work for infantry (i presume its still broken for tanks)
Deathwing 31 Oct, 2022 @ 2:18pm
Yes, I loved changes regarding manpower and division sizes (artillery, rifle, etc) (especially when I played PRC trying to do 0 manpower left with scrapping the barrel^^)

Ye, abandoned it after tank update
It was a very nice modding experience.
Deathwing 31 Oct, 2022 @ 11:28am
too bad this mod isn't updated anymore ! I like the changes (but since tank&airplane designer, too much to update surely)
Lord Felix 16 Jan, 2022 @ 1:54am
Does it work with kaiserreich?
Luftwaffle17 4 Jan, 2022 @ 9:42am
Aye, fair enough
Darth Wick  [author] 4 Jan, 2022 @ 9:11am
No.
Luftwaffle17 4 Jan, 2022 @ 9:05am
Looks great, will there be a new version for the current update?
adi._.1101 1 Jan, 2022 @ 4:04pm

a rifle per mp is gonna risk overflow

I would suggest creating a unique .lua defines file to make this compatible with other mods that also edit the defines.
Deathwing 15 Jul, 2021 @ 6:21am
no they take the guns from dead soldiers :) (ally or enemy's)
arc’teryx 15 Jul, 2021 @ 5:39am
This is good, im tired of seeing 8k guns with 15k manpower. Bruh like do they fight with sticks?
Zarathustra1889 28 Jun, 2021 @ 1:20am
Ahh I see. Thanks, I'll use it in my next campaign.
Darth Wick  [author] 27 Jun, 2021 @ 3:06pm
Yes it works but I don't recommend it since it would bring a huge equipment deficit
Zarathustra1889 27 Jun, 2021 @ 5:51am
Would this work mid-game or do I have to start a new save?
ᛣ Munin ᛉ 6 Jun, 2021 @ 1:55pm
Yeah and it's making me annoyed. The only mods that give civilian casualties are certain nuke mods like unconventional warfare. I also hate how you only "damage" factories and not destroy them. Same with infrastructure
Darth Wick  [author] 6 Jun, 2021 @ 4:01am
Didn't look into that aspect yet, as far as I know, PDX said that civilian deaths are not modeled in the game.
ᛣ Munin ᛉ 5 Jun, 2021 @ 5:13pm
Would be good to have a realistic casualty ratio too. Do you also know of any way to make it so that casualties cause -X population growth ?
I find it horrible to see soviet lost 40million but moscow and stalingrad increased in population.
Gazeteci Şerif Bey 2 Jun, 2021 @ 2:09am
finally I found a realistic mod.thanks

Will check the combat width problem and the speed one too. A d regarding 2 mil guns, well, that's a game issue. Since the last dev diary, the tanks system will go through a redesign, so i'll have to see what i keep and what I scrap.
Scuttlebutt 29 Apr, 2021 @ 12:50am
Pretty interesting. Definitely makes manpower less useful compared to equipment. But needs a few more tweaks. Motorized, AC, LT don't affect combat width in recon. Also not sure if intentional but almost every support company limits speed to 4kph while still needing motorized. Lastly gotta bring up the overclock counter whenever reaching 2 million equipment. Not sure if there is a way to change it. Otherwise game resets equipment to zero. Overall looking forward to see where this is headed.
Darth Wick  [author] 26 Apr, 2021 @ 3:15am
I will think of tweaking the combat width for some of the units to better reflect manpower distribution.
Darth Wick  [author] 26 Apr, 2021 @ 3:12am
https://secondworldwar.co.uk/index.php/army-sizes-a-ranks/86-army-units-a-sizes

And it checks out with the Battalion size of 400-1000, since the mod makes units have between 500-660 man per battalion.
Darth Wick  [author] 25 Apr, 2021 @ 3:43pm
Making the division manpower requirement smaller is a way to balance out the gun production. The game doesn't process values smaller then 0.1 production cost, so it has to be like this.
Huassenbeiger 25 Apr, 2021 @ 3:40pm
Divisions are already small as they are, reducing manpower per battalion to 500 just makes it even more unhistorical and unbalanced
Oathbearer 25 Apr, 2021 @ 2:44pm
About to try the mod it would be cool if you could upload pictures to show proof and get more subscribers!
Commandergreetv 23 Apr, 2021 @ 12:54am
cool!
