I'm experiencing an issue where I immediately die when I touch the ground. It's not just this addon either, all PM addons with custom animations such as the Halo one do this. Could somebody help me? Thank you.

Hello i got a question if you could make a standalone addon that replaces the MGS2 animations for MGS:PW playermodels with MGS3 animations? I think it would really fit way better.. But eitherway thanks for making these awesome MGS mods!

idk why but the models are purple???? LOL smth to do with the vtf files but some work and some dont so im very lost help would be appreciated thanks

Hello, I think I have an unusual problem with the addon. I do not know why but the texture, or material, of the PMs have like a metallic glow. If someone had this problem and know how fix it let me know

Hmmm... they gotta be somewhere, they might be stored in an MTAR stored in a different stage subfolder, maybe?

k i got the fbx. the way mtars in mgs3 work is it has every animation the character model would ever need but the game just pulls certain parts of the animation so the fbx has every snake animation EXCEPT his walking and running for some reason

@killer kevin - fbx supports animations.
You need to use Noesis to convert the mtar's:

Could you make the theoretic new pack compatible with the act commands? Or compatible with the MW infil mod? Since the models aren't compatible any animations at all.

how would i convert an mtar to fbx cause im pretty sure fbx is a model filetype and mtar is an animation filetype

The Gmod format for anims and meshes is SMD, btw

@killer kevin: There are Noesis plugins for MGS1, MGS2, MGS3, MGS4 and Peace Walker (you can find them on GitHub).
You have to enable animation ripping and export the mtar to FBX or any workable format.

how are you getting the mgs2 animations in gmod? like what format are the gmod animations. i managed to find which mtar (animation filetype for mgs3) contains the basic CQC animations where he does the double punch then kick thing

When i use ArcCW weapons while using these playermodels, sometimes the weapons are correctly placed in their hands on thirdperson, and sometimes the gun appears below them. I've made numerous tests with the same set of weapons and i still can't figure out why sometimes it works properly and why sometimes it doesn't.

the hitboxes are pretty bad too, honestly they dont even need to be perfect, just one set of simple boxes copy pasted for all models
