tbh theres not many mapper for black-mesa compared to hl2 for exemple.. so im glad to be one of the most active for bms.. fun fact its just my first year into modding but im so much into it that i got the experince quickly since i mod prob between 6 to 8 hours a day, covid got me busy into that also its my fav game ever it got my inspired to do all kind of mods, some small project (like survival map) and some campaign that will eventually see the light of days!

it work man i tried with and without the script it was even worse xd, its just that source npcs arent made for such a big map and even with a script if they dont see you they will not attack you and theres nothing i can do about that since i dont know shit about making custom scripting so.. only know how to in hammer! But thanks i enjoyed making it tough, i might eventually do a few adjustments like i always do in all my maps so thanks again for your honest opinion :)

i understand the point of the map, thats why i think it would be cool if the player didnt have anywhere they could hide for long, its a little easy. i dont think that script you made works which is a shame. regardless of that small gameplay gripe i love this map. one of your best for sure

the goal is to kill as much enemies as you can, not stay there and be like look im good enemies dosent attack that dosent work like that xd

i also added a scrpit that enemies should always go to kill you, but its fucking source lol so theres that

like i mentioned this is not a map were you have to just survive, its a war map, so if you stay there AND DONT MOVE THATS NOT GAMEPLAY LOL thats called a CHEAP ASS MOVE,i did the best i could, to much enemies made the map lag asf so i cant add more i had to nerf it sadly because of that

looks amazing and has great replay value. only downfall of the map is you can sit where the headcrabs spawn after you get a couple good weapons and you'll never have any danger of being attacked.

you could make this map really great if all of the enemies knew exactly where gordon was at all times and converged toward him relentlessly. and this could be balanced by lowering the spawn frequency of the enemies. but for such a big map the enemy spawns suck because you have no reason to go attack them again after you grab the weapon they're guarding
