If you have the faction file in yourmod.rte/factionfiles/ul2/ then all you need to do is go into unmappedlands2.rte or voidwanderers.rte, go into Factions folder, open up Factions.cfg, and add in the line "yourmod.rte" (no quotes). That way you don't need to move the .lua files anywhere.

well, why not use the physics of a grenaid that has properties of a digger (witch would be a very small but damaging feild of a digger) on the tip of the knife thatactivates when it hist a actor. and make it spinny because it would be cool.

Actually, I might be able to get around with a grapple gun instead of a jetpack, there's a point where you get too heavy for the jetpack and have to use a grapple gun most of the time.

The Blaster is a heavy weapon for a reason, It is a fair bit more powerful than the Assault Rifle. To balance that out, I made it a bit heavier and a bit more expensive than the traditional Assault Rifle. If I were to make it just be expensive, it would be abhorrently expensive to the point that it is not a cost effective weapon or it would be so heavy that you couldn't effectively carry it.

Though, that helmet on the commander (brainbot), it's saved my life so many times. You don't understand how useful it is to have a helmet like that. I can just lay flat on the ground and my helmet can absorb the damage for a few hits, on a normal brain commander, I would be dead because on a normal brain commander, the headpiece is the weakspot.

I have an issue. You know that unit? He's the first unit in the long column of units in the screenshot I think, he's way too heavy. I was only carrying a knife and an RDI blaster, yet he struggles to even maneuver around something like Tartarus since he can only get like half way up something before he runs out of jetpack fuel! You try using it in Tartarus, it's near impossible!

Also, sorry for spamming you, but I keep discovering things repeatedly, is it possible for you to add a script that, if the drop pod is intact, it will eventually disappear after not being used for a while? I know it's possible, I have a mod that does that with the drop pods.

Also, just then, I deployed a compact assault rifle, and a standard RDI soldier, in a drop pod, and the drop pod just detonated on impact. The soldier survived and was not harmed, but it basically hit the ground and he was just ejected to the right instantly and the drop pod was reduced to a small compressed amount of objects on the floor in a crater. The rest of the drop pod appears to have just disintegrated upon impact.

You forgot to rename the drop pod, it still has the description and name of the drop crate. Also, I decided, after deploying my infantry (Nice to see how it doesn't explode after it deploys the unit, something that isn't happening with other drop pods), I decided to get him back in, just to lol around. I could actually move the drop pod, so I flipped it over so it's on it's side, couldn't move it anymore, so decided to deploy my unit, and then it exploded while the unit was midair, and caused my gun to fly off forwards, and me to basically go to 54 hp, and then cause me to somehow snap the spine of a light coalition soldier by hitting him backwards really badly, and I survived. I don't know how I survived, but I did.

Maybe you could add in a more logically designed droid/ mechanised infantry, considering the other one was basically a tube of steel with a gun, that's not really good design. Look at the Imperatus. Look at the various redcoat/bluecoat combat droids on the workshop. Look at how they're like humans except altered in different ways depending on the faction (Not like cyborg, like the ''chassis'' of the human is altered in different ways; Longer heads, more armour around the facial area, generally more armour, etc). They are well-designed. What you have to do, though, is make it so that they're heavier, and maybe they start with no weapon, so it's actually still viable to use an organic lifeform instead.

I decided to remove it and the Protective cage because the cage is an old, scrapped Idea, and I couldnt get the Mk.1 's model to look right, so I opted to remove it from the game, but still keep all the code and textures in case I chose to come back. I also added a drop pod.

I can't explain it very well, you see, it's the artstyle. On something like a dreadnought, it has this really nice look, on units, it has a really nice look, on these, it doesn't have that style that CC has everywhere else, including 90% of other mods, which makes it look out-of-place and generally makes it look like it was a rushed design that someone didn't want to spend alot of time on.

Just for it to look obsolete, bulky and poorly designed, it doesn't have to look like that. I'm not saying it looks outdated, I'm saying it looks straight-up out of place, like it's a paper drawing walking across the battlefield of pixelated soldiers.

I will work on the dropship, but the larger mechanized infantry looks terrible because it was made to look obsolete, bulky, and poorly designed, like a first generation/prototype.

Compare the texture and looks of your dropship to a default one in CC, or alot of the ones from mods, the other ones look like they're supposed to be there, these ones look out-of-place.

The other models look like they're part of CC, the mechanized ones and the dropships, they look...Well, for starters, the larger mechanized infantry looks like it's a drawing from a child (not trying to be offensive, I have no better term) as it is uneven and jagged, and the dropship has too many lines on them. They look out-of-place, like they are from another game.

Also, what is with some of these models? The normal player models look beautiful, but the models of the dropships and the mechanized infantry etc. are all weird.

You use the weaker units for base defense and the stronger units for attacking. The protective cage is a bunker piece for you to use to prorect your brainbot. I am thinking of getting rid of it. I will work on the drop pod.

I find it very difficult to play this faction. How are you supposed to play it? Spam down weak units? Put loads of strong units? Be very good at the game?

Also, what is this ''protective cage''? Is it just the missile? Is it what the commander brain bot (assuming you have a custom one, haven't checked yet) lands down in? Is it from an outdated version?

Please make a drop pod, I hate it when people do things like just make a recoloured drop crate for their faction, drop pods aren't in the base game, meaning you have to make them all on your own, meaning they look better and feel more custom and generally make it feel less like it's just a repainted vanilla faction. I find that drop pods tend to also be slightly more accurate in where they land, since they aren't spinning in circles as they go down, and they are also more realistic. What you can do is either replace drop crate with drop pod, leave it as is (which would be annoying) or make the drop pod alongside the drop crate, so you can choose from either one, so people who want silly can have drop crates, and people who want serious can have their drop pods.

I am aware of that issue and I am working to fix it. It will not crash if you select "all" as your tech.

for some reason when i play as this team or go in to battle with them it crashes my game i dont know if any one else is having this problem but please fix it.
