Infact, it gave me an idea on a moveset for another FNF mod character: SHINTO!
i even wrote a moveset for her at discussions. Hope you may enjoy it!
(the way i wrote it, the part of code that swaps the sprites are in a user_event script instead to keep more organized).
I also used css_draw to render the alternate characterselect art and used the set_victory_portrait , set_victory_sidebar , and set_victory_theme to change the victory screen.

as well as it takes too long that the actual reward you get from hitting all the notes seem not worth it

-making dspecial work better on matches with a lot of lag
-buffing killpower of strong attacks and stuff

-spending probably another week or so remaking all his attack animations for an alt im making for him that will need me to change all his anims for that alt specifically (sorry the updates gonna take a bit)

incase anyone's curious and doesnt feel like trying to sort through the unorganized mess that is the announcements channels on my discord server, i'm (1/2)
I really like the character and I adore the specials especially down and side special, but as it stands I think he might need a few more updates to really make him better, keep up the great work. (Also the comment was too long so thats why there are two but they care meant to be together, sorry.)
My only suggestion is to maybe have a "lite mode"? Have the player not have to do the arrows but still wait til the tune plays out for the small or short lived buff. Then have the regular mode be for people who love the mini-game, gaining a more powerful or longer lasting version OF the speed/atk buff. This should
reward players that want to play the character as intended
without stressing out the beginners or joystick players that dislike the arrows mechanic.
My only other complaint is that the buff is...short lived. Adding a few extra seconds to the buff might fix this.

the longer you hold special when doing downspecial the bigger the buff and it also delays the song until you let go of the special button
and when dspecial starts you get super armor but if you hold the special button the super armor dissapears
and the notes on both sides have a hitbox that deals dmg
