Still, it's a great first map, and good luck in your future mapping career!

For one, there is not enough detail. A part of mapping for any game is being able to make an environment as realistically as possible. When you design a room, you can't just say, "What would this room have? A table, some chairs, a windows, and light?" You need to think out all of the little things, too, like misplaced trash, wall sockets, cracks or busts in the walls, pictures, and all kinds of little things. And you need to do this with every environment you make.

And secondly, the mapping is kind of bland. The entire map is one brownish, dark shade. And you never want to design an entirely dark map for CSGO, because people want to be able to see each other in most parts of the map. Not all parts of the map, but most. This is why nobody ever plays on cs_havana, because the map is dark and confusing and nobody likes it. I bet if you recompiled this map with a brighter skybox, you would get hundreds of more people coming just for the good first impression made by the sunny atmopshere.

Hey, it's me, the guy who made de_brickhouse. Thanks for the compliments!

Your map is huge, and creative. You have a lot of potential to become a mapper, and I love how much effort you put into making this huge creative environment. This is a FANTASTIC first map.

Although, it does have its flaws.

Not bad for a first map :) I would work a bit on the layout and on the texturing, There is too much brick walls, in my opinion :csgohelmet:
